The Grants and Simon.

[Simon Kipling]

"Yeah, one day." Simon said. "But... please don't mention winged monkeys. I've had nightmares about those things."

[Chloe Grant]

"...oh..." Chloe said "But the lady in Mutant Town..." she stopped, and clapped her hands over her mouth.

[Simon Kipling]

Simon furrowed his brow.

"What lady?"

[Chloe Grant]

"The precog." Chloe said "I went to see her around New Years, it was just a lark, really, but she knew so much about me and she said that she saw me getting married and that if I stuck with you that we'd have lots and lots of cute little flying monkeys. Well, not really monkeys obviously, but they'd look more like you, except that they'd have wings."

[Simon Kipling]

"Oh God." Simon said as he held his head and sat on the back of the couch. "It's coming true. The nightmare is coming true."

[Lucy Grant]

Lucy huffed and made a gesture to Chloe as if to say 'see?'

[Chloe Grant]

"Nightmare?" Chloe said "How is us having children a nightmare? I thought you wanted to get married and have children."

[Simon Kipling]

"Chloe, I told you about that dream I had, didn't I? About being locked in a cage surrounded by cages with screaming winged monkeys inside them?" Simon asked. "I get sick thinking about it."

[Chloe Grant]

"But this wouldn't be a nightmare!" Chloe said "It'd be like being surrounded by little cherubs. With tails."

[Lucy Grant]

Lucy giggled at that image.

[Simon Kipling]

"Cherubs are creepy too."

[Chloe Grant]

Chloe's eyes welled up with tears "But....Simon....I..." she started to sob.

[Lucy Grant]

Lucy's lip started to quiver seeing Chloe's reaction and hurried over to hug her sister.

[Simon Kipling]

"Chloe, I..." Simon sighed and hung his head. "I'm really not ready to talk about kids right now. And I'm just making you more upset. I... I think I should go take a walk."

[Chloe Grant]

"You're leaving?" Chloe sobbed.

[Simon Kipling]

"Am I much good here?" He asked, standing up. "I'll just say something else to make you cry more so I should go outside and just... think or something." He started to walk toward their bedroom with the intention of getting dressed.
