Trev realized, as he looked at the water, then at the pool of blood surrounding Nina, and then back at the water as he ran his hand through it and smelled his hand, that there *wasn't* any chlorine left in the pool.

"Yes. I think that the warlords might object. You...uh...you could try the Danger Room maybe?" He started paddling away from the slowly expanding pool of blood.

"--Wait. You have attack sharks?"

"Well of course I have attack sharks. How else am I going to protect the valuables I have with me? Granted, the ones I was able to keep with me are rather small... maybe this long?" He held his hands apart, about two feet. "It would be good to give them some more room to swim, though. Would you like to see my sharks?" he asked, looking to Nina at this last part.

"Oh, no problems at all. They may not warm to you, but they will still withdraw on the command sign. You simply need to know how to touch them to keep them passive and submissive. And I keep them in a few large tanks in my room."

He stood, the water-chair dissolving under them as he held his hand behind Nina's back so she didn't sink, bending over to kiss her hand as their feet touched the bottom of the pool. "Milady Nina, until later, then," he said with a smile.
