Zeryn looked quite impressed at that. "Indeed? That is quite the feat, milady." He relaxed next to her again. "But no. A few good scars can be good to have, as long as they don't impede movement. And these don't, thankfully."

Zeryn shifted a little more so that she could get a better look. From what she could tell, it was a puncture wound... and from his conversation it didn't take much to surmise that it had been a spear he'd been stabbed with. "It doesn't hurt... but it does pull when I move my arm too quickly," he admitted.

"Give me a second," Nina says, putting her hand on the scar and stroking Zeryn's skin lightly. She sends a gentle flood of microscopic probes into the skin.

The experience, Zeryn had to reflect, wasn't at all unpleasant. From having the lovely young Siren this close, to her light touch, even to the tingling feeling of the probes. So far, at least. He seemed to make himself relax, letting her work, his arm resting lightly on her shoulder to keep it out of her way.

Nina worked carefully. She was trying to be gentle after all and she didn't actually know that much about Atlantean physiology. She blushed slightly as she caught herself admiring Zeryn's musculature.

"That doesn't hurt does it?" Nina asks, trying not to stare.

"No, it doesn't," he told her. "Don't worry, though... I'm fairly sure that if it does hurt at some point, it won't hurt so much as the wound that caused it did. And if it does that, I'm also fairly sure that it will be because there is no alternative." He said it casually, as if the possibility of it hurting more than the initial stab he'd taken was nothing more than a curious possibility.

And as she worked, Nina would find that at the very least, in this area, Atlantean physiology seemed to be largely the same as human physiology did, though she would not have seen muscles this dense before, more than likely.

Zeryn looked down. He'd expected it to leave SOME trace, something neater than what was there, of course, but something. So he looked, frankly, astonished when he saw it. "That is... miraculous," he said, blinking down at it. In his astonishment, he did, of course, neglect to remove his arm from over her shoulder.

Trev decided, after his first night on campus involved meeting a cute girl in a hot tub, that he needed to start working away the beer and latenight pizza gut he'd acquired. As he didn't particularly feel like running, or cycling, he figured he'd give swimming a shot. It was supposed to be really good for you, right?

He walked into the pool with his trunks on and a towel slung over his shoulder, looking around casually for a spot to drop his stuff. He did so, then meandered up to the pool, and was about to dive in when he saw that the pool was already occupi--

Zeryn made an appologetic murmur to Nina and she found herself floating right where she'd been as he slid out from under her, standing and, well, rising to stand on the surface of the water as he gave a slight bow. "My name is Zeryn, of the Southern Atlantic Currents. What your people would call 'Atlantis'."

That greeting given, he sank back into the water and slipped back to where he'd been with Nina in his lap.
