I8: Anger Room

[Onyx]

"Yes," Onyx says, "She said some nonsense about how my friend could have been a deadly murderer for all I know."

[Sean Hall]

Sean blinked at that.

"There has to be more to it than that," Sean said, "Otherwise she's blowing things a bit out of proportion.

[Onyx]

"You will have to talk with her about it then," Onyx says coldly.

[Sean Hall]

"You don't have an opinion as to why she might think your friend was a murderer in disguise?" Sean asked.

[Onyx]

"No, I do not," Onyx says, "Although stranger things have happened here."

[Sean Hall]

"So I've heard," Sean said, "Though I mean if you've been friends with this girl for a while it'd be hard to see that."

[Onyx]

"I had just met her at a bar," Onyx says.

[Sean Hall]

"So you went drinking and brought a girl you'd just met home from the bar?" Sean asked.

[Onyx]

"Yes," Onyx says.

[Sean Hall]

"I think I am beginning to see where your fiance might have gotten the wrong impression about the situation," Sean said.

[Onyx]

"It is not even that," Onyx says, "She is not being jealous."

[Sean Hall]

Sean shrugs.

"Perhaps mages don't have incredible advice giving powers," Sean smiled, "Or I'm missing some piece of information...I really need to learn not to pry into people's personal lives."

[Onyx]

"Perhaps," Onyx agrees.

[Sean Hall]

"Especially since I don't even know your name," Sean said, "I'm Sean Hall."

[Onyx]

"I am Onyx," Onyx says, "It is a pleasure to meet you, sir."

[Sean Hall]

"And mine to meet you, Onyx," Sean said, "So how did somebody trained as a slave end up here?"

[Onyx]

"My Mistresses went to school here," Onyx said simply.

[Sean Hall]

"Ah," Sean said, "So...outside of breaking things in the danger room, and picking up girls in bars what does Onyx like to do?"

[Onyx]

"I cook and clean, mostly," Onyx says.

[Sean Hall]

"No cave diving then?" Sean asked with an easy smile.

[Onyx]

"It is not a favorite of mine," Onyx says.

[Sean Hall]

"It is a rare person that says otherwise," Sean said.

[Onyx]

"Do you enjoy cave diving?"

[Sean Hall]

"I do. Most anything to do with the outdoors really," Sean said, "Found a fencer on only my third time in here thought I might just get lucky and find somebody who enjoys cave diving."

[Onyx]

"Sorry, sir," Onyx says, bowing her head, "I don't mean to be a disappointment."

[Sean Hall]

"I would be lying if I said I wasn't just a little disappointed," Sean said, "However, it was a somewhat unrealistic expectation to have an It was compensated for by getting to meet somebody who's worth talking to."

[Onyx]

"That is very flattering of you, sir," Onyx says.

[Sean Hall]

Does she armor herself in courtesy?

Sean wondered to himself before replying.

"You're possibly the most polite person I have ever met," Sean said, "I should perhaps let you get back to your abuse of holograms."

[Onyx]

"I believe I am finished for tonight," Onyx says, "You may use the room if you wish."

[Sean Hall]

"I appreciate that," Sean said, "I hope you and your fiancee make amends."

[Onyx]

"I hope so as well," Onyx says.
