I8: Calvin's Workshop

[Taliyah Malik]

Taliyah leaned against one of the work tables, waiting for Calvin to arrive.

[Calvin Strong]

Cal was loaded down with various equipment when he came in, automatically reaching over to flick the lights on, only to find them, well, on already. "Oh," he said, surprised when he saw who had joined him. "Well, now talk about a pleasant surprise," he said, smirking as he started setting down the equipment on one of the shelves by the door.

[Taliyah Malik]

"Just thought I'd come and keep you company," Taliyah said with a smile.

[Calvin Strong]

"Definitely not complaining," Cal said, hauling a box off one of the shelves and carrying it over to the desk, pulling a few things out of it. "Since work down here is so eventful and exciting." He considered it. "Well, when I'm not sneaking sentinel parts off to make semi-X-Men-legal weapons from, at least."

[Taliyah Malik]

"Well, if I can add a little more excitement to your work day I call that a victory," Taliyah says with a smile.

[Calvin Strong]

Cal grinned at that, his eye display pointing out to him where he left off work last time. "Just hope you don't get bored," he said. "Temporal sensor suites aren't exactly exciting work."

[Taliyah Malik]

"I can always practice on my hard light capabilities while you're working," Taliyah says, "I'm getting pretty good with them."

[Calvin Strong]

"What's that like, by the way? Can you feel through the light waves? Or... hell, can you feel light? I always kind of wondered about that. Mutations are weird."

[Taliyah Malik]

"It's a bit more complicated then that," Taliyah says, "It's like having an extra sense. And try explaining how you smell or feel to someone."

"It's tricky but I'm getting the hang of more complex constructs," Taliyah says, "For example...."

Taliyah smirks, "All my clothes are hard light constructs right now."

[Calvin Strong]

Cal smirked, looking her over once. Sure enough...

He smirked. "Did I ever mention I can see through hard light constructs?" he teased, his mechanical hand still working on the equipment independently of him.

[Taliyah Malik]

"I never would have guessed," Taliyah says innocently, leaning against a work bench.

[Calvin Strong]

"Riiiight," Cal said with a smirk, reaching out and running his finger along her hip. "Can't reach through them, though. Shame, that..."

[Taliyah Malik]

"That is an awful shame," Taliyah says, wrapping her arms around Calvin's neck, "I suppose I might have had enough practice. I might deserve a little break."

[Calvin Strong]

"Well, a hard working girl should always get her reward," he said with a grin, his hands slipping around her to play at the small of her back.

[Taliyah Malik]

"And exactly what kind of reward were you thinking of, Mr. Strong?" Taliyah asks, the constructs flickering and fading away.

[Calvin Strong]

"Mmm... buy you a pony?" he teased, his hands... starting to drift to more inappropriate areas of her body.

[Taliyah Malik]

"Well, I definitely could use a nice, hard ride," Taliyah says, leaning against the table for support. She tilts her head back a little and lets out a happy sigh.

"Mm... think the workshop'll survive the experience?" Cal mused, leaning forward and taking a light bite along her hip.

"Not if I have my way," Taliyah says, one hand running through Calvin's hair. The other keeping her balance.

Cal smirked, sliding his hands up her stomach. "Going to be one of those afternoons, then?"

"Well, I also need a favor," Taliyah says, "So, I'm going to be extra generous."

[Calvin Strong]

Cal smirked. "well, far be it from me to deny gratefulness... but you know I'd help anyway, right?" he mused, pulling her down into his lap.

Taliyah kissed his neck, "Well, it's not as if it's an unpleasant way to ask for a favor."
