I7DT: Working away the time

"Maybe I am getting forgetful, good thing I've got a pretty assistant," Renko said rubbing the back of his neck as they walked into the bathroom. "It looks like you might have succeeded in scaring them all off."

He took the caddy into a shower stall, and tossed the boxers over the wall. Renko turned on the water. It was followed by a pained groan as the cold water hit him.

"Next time I'm letting the water warm up..."

Stephanie chuckled as she leaned against the wall, crossing her arms.

"You feeling okay in there....you know, other than cold?"

"Starting to remember why letting somebody hit me in the face, back, and skull is a bad idea," Renko said as he began cleaning the blood out of his hair. "Also dizzy and tired, but I'm starting to be able to think straight.

Also remembering that I'm very lucky to have somebody like you."

"What's one more blow to the head?" Renko joked. "I'm not sure on that count, you haven't killed somebody...

But maybe that's a discussion for when I don't think kittens are plotting my imminent demise."

Stephanie just laughed at the nonsensical sentences coming out of Renko.

"You sure you're okay in there? Those were barely sentences."

"Might be that I'm not quite back to my usual witty self then," Renko said, "Maybe another blow to the head will correct it. Maybe it would balance it out.

Or maybe I should have studied human biology a bit more?"

"That sounds like a incentive," Renko said, "Not a punishment by any means. Though I suppose that depends on entirely what keeping me from falling down entails."

"I wasn't assuming anything," Renko said, "I have no idea what kind of painful things you could do to make sure I stay on my feet. It might involve ropes, ice cubes, changing the temperature of the water."

Renko either oblivious or concussed you be the judge.

""Women have their ways I'm sure of it, but I'm feeling more... or less alright," Renko said, "The basic full inhibitor is making me feel funny after 16 hours without a working inhibitor is all or maybe that's the concussion not going away as quickly as before."

"Yeah, I'd think the university would prefer their shower in one piece," Renko said, "Understandable really. I mean it is a nice shower room, right?"

Renko turned off the water and without thinking opened the curtain and stepped out to grab his towel.

Renko took the towel and grabbed his shower caddy then turned possibly the darkest shade of red known to man. There was also the discovery that apparently the tongue can be tied into something stronger than the Gordian Knot.

He of course totally meant that. You could tell the whole blushing awkwardness was just a game....right?

Renko's mouth hung open as if saying one long extended.

Whaaaaaaat!?

"Playing games with the concussed naked man, so unfair. Must've been what the kittens were planning all along," Renko said chasing after her somewhat slowly.

Renko didn't have to go all that far, as she was walking pretty slowly. She turned around and smiled innocently. "I have no idea what you're talking about. Kittens? You must've hit your head pretty hard..."

She kissed him as she wrapped the towel around his waist and tying it snugly in place.

"Lets get you back to your room, dry you off, and get you some rest."

Renko put an arm around Stephanie-to steady himself yeah, that's it-and held up his towel with his other hand.

"I'd say the guard used a club to hit my head pretty hard," Renko said, "Dry would be nice, rest would also be nice, werewolf to warm my bed would be nice as well. But not all dreams come true, right?"

Stephanie leaned over him as he laid in bed and took a look at his head wound before opening up the bag that the doctor had given them, and taking out some supplies to bandage the wound. The wiped her hands on the inclosed hand sanitizer wipe and then tended to his wounds gingerly.

She stood back after a few moments and smiled at Renko. And that's when Stephanie took off all of her clothes too.

"Might as well be fair," she said, climbing into bed next to him. She pulled the covers up over them.

Renko laid still while Stephanie worked on his wound, wincing only a few times. He then cuddled up to Stephanie when she was done. Apparently imminent sleep was more than enough to make him get over his embarrassment.

"Fairs is fair. Fair is fair" Renko said repeating himself, "Thanks love."
