Sean covered a chuckle by drinking some more beer.

"That is certainly a bit more bizarre," Sean said, "Despite the somewhat magical nature of the...you called it "dark force" very few things in the world actually consume magical energy. You'd best be very careful with exposure to magical energy outside of a...controlled setting."

[John Hino]

"Its not like I went looking for it. Hell, my powers did the absorbing by reflex."

[Sean Hall]

"So avoid magic," Sean smiled. "Outside of controlled conditions."

[John Hino]

"I certainly intend to try. It took a telepath's help to turn that essence into something not malicious. Now it's a 'guard dog' mental construct."

"I didn't seem to have much issue with the piece of vine I absorbed."

[Sean Hall]

"You absorbed a piece of a magical construct," Sean said, "Not the whole construct, which might be why you didn't have a significant reaction."

[John Hino]

"It wasn't the whole thing that time either."

[Sean Hall]

Sean shrugged at that and then consumed more beer.

"Then perhaps it reacts differently to different things," Sean said, "I'd have to study it to form much more than a general idea."

[John Hino]

"Would you like to?"

[Sean Hall]

"When I'm slightly less inebriated, certainly," Sean smiled.
