Salma was in the workshop, messing around with the staff that Cal had given her. She had several books open, and was wearing her yellow scoutereyepiece, which had all sorts of numbers and figures running digitally across its surface.

"Hm?" She looked up from her work. "Oh, you mean that Dr. Tomorrow guy? No, but it's based off of that one, apparently. Did you have a run-in with him or something?"
"He kidnapped me, ripped me from my body, and forced me to act as the security system in one of his warehouses in some twisted game of Tower Defense. So you could say that."
"Oh. Um, I'm sorry," she replied, grabbing up the staff and hiding it behind her back. "I understand if you'd rather not see it, I can work on it some other time..."
"I wear a big yellow lens in front my eye at pretty much all times now. I've totally embraced the weirdness, Cal," she said with a grin. "So, is it safe to assume you know each other?"
"I thought we cleaned that all up," Cal said 'innocently', glancing back to Taliyah briefly with a smirk before settling down on the overly-comfortable couch he hadn't let Tommy get rid of.
"Oh, tell me about it," Cal said, smirking as he draped his arm around her waist. "So... what's everyone up to? Or are we just comparing our cyber-cred right now?"
"Hardly," she replied to Cal, grinning. "I'm just playing around with the toy you gave me. And seeing if I can figure it out...but with my current knowledge of engineering, I don't know how well that'll go," she admitted.
"I haven't interfaced with it much. I mean, normally I would only use it in dangerous situations, and I've been trying to avoid those. Still, I figured a test run couldn't hurt."
