June 12th - The Armory

[Atropha]

Nailah had followed Atropha all the way to the armory. How she had gotten in is anybody's guess (though the logs would later show that all the security doors had been accessed by Nailah Weaver. And a bit later by Nailah Weaver again)

Now Atropha was going through the heavier armaments around, already having discarded a couple.

[Nailah Weaver]

"Okay, this went on enough. Mind telling me what is going on here?"

[Atropha]

"No time. Get out of my hair. I need to take care of something."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I don't think so." Nailah says, her staff snapping out.

[Atropha]

Atropha turns around and for a moment it looks like someone punched her in the gut.

"This is how it's going to happen then, is it? I think I understand now..." she says and a look of determination spreads on her face as she breaks into a sprint towards Nailah.

The ensuing fight is a confusing series of jabs and dodges, feints and counter-feints as the two precogs try to overpower each other. Neither seems to gain particularly much ground for a while as they almost dance through the room.

Eventually though Nailah seems to manage to corner the unarmed Atropha, panting as she holds the bladed end of her staff to the woman's throat. "Okay, maybe you should start cooperating."

[Atropha]

Atropha doesn't say anything. Instead she just glances down at the futuristic injector she's holding against Nailah's stomach just as it discharges it's contents into her.

"I forgot how gullible you could be sometimes." she says as Nailah collapses to the floor and she discards the injector. Judging from the warning labels on it it wasn't quite intended for use on people. At least not people with normal proportions.

Atropha lets out a sigh. "One thing after the other I suppose..." She grabs a cannister of the stuff she was originally looking for and pockets it before she starts moving the unconscious Nailah.
