"Rush," Sean said eyes beginning to glow. Blue tattoo like lines appeared on his body. "Do you know what it's like trying to maintain a lie like that? Or what it's like trying to uncover the truth? How would you look into your parents eyes?"

The ground itself cracked beneath Sean. The tree by them was making an ominous creaking noise.

"I willingly let myself die in a possible future, knowing full-well that it would break Sam's heart and mind and even though it never came to be she remembers every moment of it." she says, sad yet calm despite the chaos breaking out in front of her. "Yet she forgave me. And goddess knows that wasn't the only hardship I put her through."

Sean took a step towards Nailah the grass burning away beneath his feet. The tree that had been creaking buckled, an unnatural wind began to blow.

"<One person, one of many I've hurt, people important to me>," Sean said his voice crackling with power, "<Parents, friends, so many lies. My life is a LIE."

The tree began to glow.

Nailah extends one arm towards Sean, palm pointing towards him as the winds whips her clothes around her.

"Serf-en neteru Heka." she says. And suddenly it's as if there's a center of calm extending from her palm, swallowing up the gale and the twisting magic Sean had unleashed. Outside the growing sphere though the barely controlled magic was still bending the laws of physics. "Is this how you want to reveal your secret? By showing a remarkable lack of restraint?"

"This is what I am," Sean said, "If I let them see I'm not unlike them maybe they'll understand..."

The storm around Sean wavered violently as his emotional state changed.The glowing tree detonated with a bang during one such fluctuation.

"You are overreacting and all this will acomplish is them mistrusting you even more." she says, basically ignoring what's happening outside of the calm sphere she's standing in which continues to grow and swallow up the chaos until it begins to engulf Sean as well.

The sphere Nailah had created seemed to hit a barrier as it began to try and engulf Sean. There was a smell of Ozone as Nailah's powers clashed with Sean's.

"They will hate me regardless, so why not get it over with in just one moment," Sean said, "At least they can mistrust me for something real, not simply because of lying to them."

Sean took another step towards Nailah small cracks forming in the sphere of calm.

"Why all the self-loathing. You think your way of bending the laws of physics is any more special then those of your class-mates?" she asks, still staying calm with an air of determination about her. She may not be making any progress, but the cracks slowly close and at the very least it's forcing most of Sean's focus on that.

Sean looked beyond Nailah at Altamira. The two spheres of influence crackled audibly.

"Easier to tear off the bandage in one motion," Sean said, "Easier to deal with them simply hating me than trying to confront it."

"I believe your boyfriend is having a bit of a crisis."

"Could she?" Sean asked though Altamira could see through his bravado. He wasn't in the proper state to fight anybody, magic or not. "Is that what this will come down to?"

Sean flashed through a rather wide spectrum of emotions, shock to anger, to sadness, to embarassment.

"I never wanted to fight you," Sean said, "Why would I want to do that..."

Sean growled in frustration and the storm blew out in a bright flash of light. When it faded, Sean was sitting on the ground, blue tattoo like markings slowly fading from his body.

"Maybe, I think I just need a... no I'm not," Sean said looking at Altamira then at the ground.

Sean got to his feet and looked at the tree.

"I thought we had that conversation, Altamira," Sean said, "I sound like a hypocrite now..."

Sean chanted some words quietly. The tree began to grow back. The discarded pieces remained, but hey new tree.
