"Well, my job keeps me pretty busy." Jez said, swirling her drink around in her glass. "But when I do get a chance to unwind I like to pamper myself. Spas, massages, saunas, those sorts of things. Sometimes all I want is a nice quiet day with a good book, you know?"

"What about yourself?"

"I cook and clean," Onyx says, "I enjoy doing housework. It lets me clear my mind and just relax."

Onyx takes a sip of her drink.

"Of course, when I really want to wind down I wait until my fiancee comes home so she can tear my clothes off and fuck me senseless."

"Please, don't apologize." Jez said with a smile. "I appreciate you being honest, I wish more people were as honest as you've been with me. I'm glad that you have someone special who helps make you happy too, and that you're confident enough to tell truths that others might be embarrassed by. It makes me think that we're making progress as a movement."

When a person has their freedoms and rights stripped from them to the point where the cannot make their own choices, are they acting as anything more than animals?" Jez drummed her fingers on the bar, resting her head on her arm as she lay draped over the wooden surface.

"Ugh. It's no wonder I didn't take philosophy this year."

"I don't have much time for dating. That and most guys are intimidated by my job. Or my head." She looked at Onyx, laying her head on her arm. "I'm not super smart or anything. But dressing professionally and wearing glasses seems to scare them off a lot. I'm not good at being forward either so... nope!"
