May 27th: Alright, just one more favor, Wingnut.

Chloe shifted into bird form, and took to the air, heading after the fleeing villains.

[Bobby Bowen]

Bobby went to check on the unmoving citizens, with a grave felling in his stomach.

[Belial]

Chloe would find a strange absence of villains running away in cars, buses, and/or on foot. There was a crowd of people standing around watching smoke pour out of the first bank. It was almost like the two villains had vanished in a puff of smoke.

Bobby would find one of them had died, the other was on the edge her body hideously burned.

Policemen stepped out of their vehicles and drew their weapons. Ambulances, and fire engines parked behind the vehicles waiting for the area to be cleared.

"Hands on your heads," one of the officers announced weapon trained on bobby.

A tear fell out of Bobby's clenched shut eye as he slowly raised his hands to his head.

[Chloe Grant]

Chloe flew in a wide circle over the site, looking for where they could have gone.

[Nick Varkan]

Nick put his hands on his head, but didn't stop moving victims to safety. He was pretty badly burnt himself.

[Belial]

The police advanced and handcuffed all of them but Nick seeing as he was injured. The paramedics, and firefights rushed onto the scene once the all clear had been sounded. A group of them tended to the hostages, while one checked out Nick.

Stretchers were incoming behind the paramedics.

Chloe's still wider circle didn't seem to gather much more on the two's whereabouts. The already crowded area was letting them get away, but perhaps they'd left something behind.

Nick was barely conscious when the paramedics got to him. If he hadn't used his powers to handle the device, he'd likely be dead.

[Belial]

The paramedics quickly put Nick on a stretcher, and then loaded him into an ambulance. A police car followed the ambulance, and one officer stayed inside the cabin with the paramedics.

[Nick Varkan]

He seemed to be trying to say something.

[Belial]

"How is he still conscious?" One of the paramedics asked more than a little surprised. One of them leaned in closer to Nick to try and make out what he was trying to say.

[Nick Varkan]

He was only muttering in his sleep, something about being a fuck-up.

[Belial]

The paramedics stared at one another for a moment before going back to work on Nick.

"This kid is a bank robber?" one of them asked.

After a few more passes, Chloe gave up and headed back to the school to inform them of the disaster.
