Zeryn peered in with Rich, then walked back to the place where (he thought) he'd seen what he needed on the map. Sure enough, there were restrooms there, and when Zeryn returned, he had two inches of water pulsing around his body. This is better.

Here's to hoping they won't fire that thing in tight quarters.

John gave Rachel a nod before walking into the room.

"Didn't anyone teach you ladies to share?"

Rick was looking back at Zeryn and his watery-ness when John's voice from the other end of the room startled him. "I think that's our cue." Rick slowly stepped into the light.

The Pink one's nice exterior was masking a core of rage and anger, immense and intense--it was cutting through whatever was scrambling the mental images, that was how powerful it was.

"Cha! T'da bol palcle llomc flyma!" the bikini one shouted, hands on hips.

Zeryn followed Rick around the corner, and the water pulsing around him resolved into hardened liquid armor around him, with excess gathered around one hand, ready for use. Still... his companion was attempting diplomacy. It would be rude to interrupt at this point, naturally.

Angrily, the bikini clad one repeated herself, looking at Rick and Zeryn, while BikerChick hefted the Bazooka on her shoulder, pointed back the other way.

Victorian Pink sort of cowered back towards a corner, and the tall one...stood.

And that was all that Zeryn needed to see. He thrust his hand out, water coursing in spearlike tendrils, aiming for the large surface weapon that was being directed at the side of the room their other companions were coming from. Perhaps, he reflected, they really weren't concerned about property damage like the X-Men were.

"Hora!" BikerChick shouted as Zeryn's tendril of water hit her, which was quickly blocked as Bikini took to the air, lightning crackiling around her hands, more of it shooting at Zeryn--water was a good conductor, after all.

Pinky Pie's mind was awash in chaos as it were--most mindscapes were stable, but this was rocking up and down, everything--Rachel included, inside--was growing and shrinking at apparently random rates--was this natural, or was it an effect of whatever was dulling Rachel's mind senses?

Rick cursed and extended a hand, forming a lateral, spinning cylinder of air that he aimed across the room and unleashed towards to would-be thieves.

The Biker chick jumped backwards out of the path of the wind, dropping her bazooka for a moment and whipped out a pair of rough chain nunchaku, squaring off against John.

The tall robed one was forced a step back by the gust of wind, but otherwise stood tall.

Not so much the flying bikini girl, who was slammed into a wall, and began firing electrical bursts at both Zeryn AND Rick.

Rachel was getting somewhere with the Pink girl, as she reached for her throat...when all of a sudden, a great shock of PAIN came down the line, as the gem on the staff in Bikini's hands glowed slightly. This gave the Pink girl the excuse she needed to dash down the hallway past Rachel, trying to beat a hasty retreat.

"You would fare better with words," John smirked as he moved in on her, stomping the bazooka's triggering mechanism to scrap.

From where John stomped on the bazooka, a foul smelling, sticky, brown goop began oozing out, which would at least slow John down--not yet enough to make him stick to the ground or anything, though.

Zeryn's water splashed everywhere as the lightning coarsed through it (and him) and he lost control of it. He spasmed, then fell to the ground in a daze, nauseated by the ozone scent around him as he tried to gather his wits again.

It stretched with him---and then--shot up TOWARDS him!

The Bikini chick turned away from Zeryn to square off with Rick, eyes crackling with electricity.

And the robed one...stood there.

Oh well. Guess I'll go with the old close range standby.

One second, Rick was just slowly circling to the right in careful, measured steps. The next, he was encased in a whirling vortex and flying straight at Bikini.

Bikini darted back--she was VERY nimble in the air, even in these tight quarters. But she held off from more lightning, apparently unwilling to have it be caught in the whirlwind.

But where John touched it, it stuck to his skin like glue, and BikerChick knew enough to keep her distance, now with a smug smirk.

And robe chick stood there.

Rick barely swerved before crashing into a display of priceless old Celtic artifacts. It was a close call, but firing off blasts of wind around the room wouldn't be any less dangerous to its ancient contents. For now, he resorted to flying at Bikini where she floated in the air, trailing her if he must to try to collide with her.

It was becoming a game of keep away, with Bikini trying to stay away from Rick--like I said, she was much more nimble, but she was also on the defensive, in a limited space, and slowly, very slowly, Rick was cornering her...

"I could do this all day, lady!," Rick shouted over the dull roar of the winds. Well, actually he couldn't, but there was no point in informing her of that.

Not that she would understand anyway.

Slowing down while staying in the air, he tried to guess her trajectory and fired a blast of wind just ahead of (he hoped) she'd be, near the upper part of a wall relatively devoid of ancient treasures from long ago.

He smirked back. With his strength John was still able to pick his foot up, taking a piece of floor tile with him. Luckily he had only tried to use his leg to sling it.

Rick's blast hit the damnable quick Bikini, knocking her to the floor, sending the sceptery thing bouncing across the floor, which led to the pain being released from Rachel.

The tall robed one slowly walked over and picked the thing up.

Biker Chick frowned as John managed to rip through the floor, and fainted left before swinging the nunchucks to come down hard on John's right temple, designed to disorient.

...sending Biker Chick flipping over him---where she landed on her hands and sprung to her feet, after a *click* detached the barrel of the bazooka.

She shouldered it, pointing at John while backing away, smirking again, and reaching into a holster for something...

John turned.

Oh hell.

He threw the nunchaku at her as he charged her. Because, hey, there was no good cover and he wasn't quick enough to dodge. His best chance was to get to her first.

She easily avoided the throw, rolling to her right, rising up on one knee, and then---fired the bazooka, with some kind of portable device she had slotted into a port on the side.

A huge glob of the brown sticky stuff was coming right towards John.

He tried to leap out of the way. Unfortunately, as he was a person large in stature, he failed to avoid the goop which knocked him to the floor. He struggled to tear free.

And that's when Bikini girl send a bolt of electricity at the brown goop, shooting around Rick, setting the whole John-gloop thing ablaze with bright blue electricity!

And also leaving her wide open for any revenge Rick may want to take, assuming he could avoid BikerChick, who was swinging the heavy bazooka around to try another shot.

Whaaaa...? Zeryn blinked and looked up as his vision cleared. Closing his eyes, he willed all of the water to start sloshing about the floor of the room now, and decided to do what no one else had done yet: He sent a solid stream of water pounding at Robe Chick.

And take the opening Rick did, descending and attempting to performing an aerial tackle against Bikini, though not with the mini-tornado blowing around him; in case Bikini didn't have superhuman durability, he was going to try not be responsible for her accidental death by being knocked through a wall.

The water shot towards RobeChick, but as it reached her, it ended up freezing in an icicle.

"Fascinating," she said, observing it and then the scepter, still not attacking.

Rick slammed into Bikini, just dodging a blast of the brown goop from Biker Chick, slamming her into a wall. She cried out in pain as it sounded like something cracked.

Rachel got a hand on Pinky, causing her to stumble some in her dress, but she recovered and darted around a corner. The pain by this time, however, had gone, leaving Rachel more free to act.
