May 25th: Red and Green

[Will Stanton]

Will was in the bar, tooling around on the piano in there a little bit, as it was pretty empty.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Hey." Rachel said, leaning against the piano "How've you been? I'm sorry I haven't been by, but I didn't want to bug you. Plus, well, I was scared of waking baby girl up."

[Will Stanton]

"Rachel! Oh, hi, hi. Yeah, uh, things are going good, thank you very much. And baby don't sleep. I swear, that's her secondary mutation."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Well, if you or Sara need a nap, just let me know." Rachel said "We'll be glad to take her for a bit, or you can just take turns hiding in our apartment."

[Will Stanton]

"No, no, no, uh, no hiding necessary--I've been doing quite enough of that..." he smirked.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"yeah." Rachel replied "I guess you have."

[Will Stanton]

"But I'm out now," he said, SOMEwhat defensively. "Look at how bloody social I'm being."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Yes." Rachel said "Its good that you're getting out."

[Will Stanton]

"Well, we can't stay cooped up forever? What's past is past, and we're looking for...the future!" he said, playing a trill upwards on the piano.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Sometimes you have to face the past." Rachel said.

[Will Stanton]

"What's done is done, Rachel. Then you go forward," he said, firmly.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"I hope that works out for you." Rachel replied, sounding just a bit dubious.

[Will Stanton]

"How couldn't it? You just roll forwards and forwards, and it's all fine and dandy, like sour candy."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Until the shit you've been ignoring bites you in the ass." Rachel said "This would be the 'do as I say, not as I do' advice."

[Will Stanton]

"I have a robust ass. I shall be fine," he smiled. "But thanks for worrying."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"You're welcome." Rachel said, sighing a little.

[Will Stanton]

"YOU alright?"

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Amazingly, yes." Rachel said "Things have bee pretty good. Boring, but good."

[Will Stanton]

"Boring isn't fun. You need some excitement!"

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Any ideas?"

[Will Stanton]

"No! Not a one," he smiled.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Ok, now I think that maybe I do need to worry."

[Will Stanton]

"Wha?"

[Rachel O'Brien]

"You can't think of any bad yet hilarious ideas."

[Will Stanton]

"I'm not a machine," he frowned.

[Amanda Weinrich]

"Of course you aren't." Rachel said "I was just making a joke."

[Will Stanton]

"Oh, right. Yeah, I know, I know. I'm just out of silly at the moment," he shrugged.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Its ok." Rachel said "You're allowed. So, how is Robin doing?"

[Will Stanton]

"Growing fast, growing strong.

And singlehandedly subsidizing the diaper industry."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"What goes in must come out, I guess."

[Will Stanton]

"I don't remember putting all THAT in her," he chuckled.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Obviously." Rachel said "Sara is doing most of it."

[Will Stanton]

"Right, of course. Even then..."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"hey, looking that cute burns a bunch of calories."

[Will Stanton]

"Apparently! Lousy calories."
