March 20th - Catharsis

[Nailah Weaver]

"Is that so?" she grins, putting a clawed foot on the dead beastie.

[Samantha McManus]

"It could be worse. I could be asking you to kiss me like this."

[Nailah Weaver]

"You may not have been as... colourful back then but you do remember what happened after the first time you showed off like this, do you?" she laughs.

[Samantha McManus]

"Oh aye, I do. Of course, a lot has happened since then."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Yeah..." she says and for the first time since they had started up the program a bit of a shadow hangs over her again.

"Well I'd still give it a shot." she smiles, trying to shake it.

[Samantha McManus]

"I'll spare you, worry not."

[Nailah Weaver]

"You make it sound more horrible than it'd be." she chuckles.

[Samantha McManus]

"Being spattered in viscera isn't usually a turn-on."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I didn't say it'd make it better, hun."

[Samantha McManus]

"Aye, but it's a strange conversation to begin with," she said with a toothy grin.

[Nailah Weaver]

"Maybe just a bit." she admits with a chuckle.

[Samantha McManus]

"Computer, de-res the fauna."

"Acknowledged."

The beasties, and by association their entrails and precious bodily fluids, faded away. Samantha herself wrenched her body back into a more civilized shape as they did.

[Nailah Weaver]

"A notable improvement, I have to admit." she teases.

[Samantha McManus]

"She's more built for speed than comfort."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Comfort is good." she smiles, giving Sam a swift kiss that's only a little hesitant.

[Samantha McManus]

Samantha returned the kiss, accepting that this was what Nailah could manage for now.

"So, did this help?"

[Nailah Weaver]

She nods. "It felt good to do something. Be in control of a situation in a way..."

[Samantha McManus]

"Aye, and it was nice seeing you in action."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Thanks..." she smiles slightly, not quite blushing.

[Samantha McManus]

"Planning on pursuing things like this further?"

[Nailah Weaver]

"I think so. Maybe not to perfection, but it felt good. Exhilarating in a way."

[Samantha McManus]

"Doesn't have to be tooth and claw if you don't want it to, of course."

[Nailah Weaver]

"It was interesting, but yes, I think I'd be sticking to the staff for the most part."

[Samantha McManus]

"No shame in that."
