It clears the mind

"Pretty much what this does," he said, hefting the staff. "Well, some of what it does, at least. Honestly, I haven't figured out what all this does, but that should have the basics that I have. Without, y'know, learning to fight with a staff and such."

She did manage to get the shield up after some toying around with the magic stick. "Yes I have never fought with a staff before. Actually, I've never really fought at all." She blushed. "Sorry if I was useless back at SysGen."

"You didn't slow us down," he said with a little grin. "For your first time out? Consider that a win."

[Taliyah Malik]

Taliyah steps off the table and moves into Calvin's lap as she dances.

"No, I don't suppose it is," Taliyah says with a wink.

[Salma Tournier]

"I guess so. Making it out from there with my sanity intact was probably a win."

[Calvin Strong]

"Yeah, tell me about it," Cal mused. "Breathe a sigh of relief at getting out of there."

Taliyah reaches behind her back and in a smooth motion undoes her top and tosses it aside.

Holding on to Calvin's shoulders she begins to really start moving in his lap.

One bonus, Cal reflected, was that in the clubs, you weren't allowed to touch the girls.  And as Taliyah gyrated in his lap, Cal made very good use of the fact that there wasn't any such rule over encrypted connections.

"You know, I was already planning on going here starting next year. I read up on some of the literature. This is probably where you learned to fight, right?"

Another bonus was that the girls were more apt to touch you. Sliding Calvin's belt out of the way, Taliyah's hand began moving along with her hips.

Cal slid his hands up her legs, exploring the lack of clothing she was sporting, deciding that yes, this most certainly was time he'd spent coding that was well worth it.

"Hm? OH, right. Well, mostly," he said, snapping from a reverie back to the situation at hand. "You learn a lot about what the implants can do all on your own if you put your mind to it, too," he admitted.

"Right. I just want to learn how to be able to defend myself better," she admitted.

[Taliyah Malik]

Taliyah pushes Calvin's hand away, "None of that. Just sit back and enjoy the show."

With a smile, Taliyah returns to what she's doing, her hand pushing away some of Calvin's more restricting articles of clothing as it explored.

And Cal was more than happy to enjoy the... entertainment.

"Well, there's nothing for it like experience," he said, a little apologetically. "The extra parts help you pick up the learning curve, though, for whatever it's worth," he added, tapping his cybernetic arm to clarify.

As Calvin chatted, Taliyah slid down off his lap and began doing something no respectable club would allow their dancers to do.

"God, you always know what I like don't you?" Cal sighed, wondering briefly if she was counting on him being in public right at this moment.  She did get off on that sort of thing, after all.

[Salma Tournier]

"You would know, I guess." She smiled sweetly. "You were awesome back there at SysGen. Well, everyone was. Who was that guy who set me free in the first place, though?"

[Calvin Strong]

"Oh, that guy that showed up at the end and told us to run?" Cal said. "No clue. Never seen him before. I've been trying to put a name to him, but I can't find anything on him, whatever I try."

[Salma Tournier]

"That's...peculiar. I wonder if he's one of us?," she asked, gesturing to her own arm like Cal had a moment before.

[Calvin Strong]

"Looked like it," Cal said, replaying the image. "Just not one I've seen before. He didn't show when Taliyah needed a rescue, I know that."

[Eric Osgood]

"Hello, fellow tossers. Enjoying the day?"

Eric wandered in, apparently due to some rule that cyborgs attracted each other.

"Yeah, you could say that," Cal smirked.

Meanwhile, Cal was most certainly enjoying the day.

And Taliyah was responding rather enthusiastically.

"Absolutely! Cal is giving me new toys."

Cal couldn't help smirking at that.

"This can even do that force field-y thing!"

"And the levitation thing," he added.

[Eric Osgood]

"Yep. He's pretty good with the time wasters. Now, where's the red light-green light lass?"

"Not sure, she's off doing something, I think," he said.
