I don't have to agree with everything she does to support her.

If this was a simple 'not agreeing', you'd be in bed right now.

I'm not allowed to be a little worried by this?

If you were a "little" worried, you'd be asleep. You're a bit beyond that. This is like the career woman who can't picture losing her freedom who will 'support' her friend who's decided to start a family, but then rant and rave about how she's giving up her freedom, how awful children are, rubbish like that. She's the one doing this, not you. If she's not worried, it's rather silly for you to be.

Yes, but that's as close a relation as I could use for the analogy and still have it make sense. And you're dodging the point, that is how you're acting.

May I add how lovely it is to get this on two fronts at once?

And both from people who know you and love you, so we're obviously both right and doing this for your good. Do you, by any chance, remember all of the rubbish you whined about while you were denying you were psychic while we were in high school?

I want you to be bloody honest about this. You don't like this. You're afraid of it. I want you to say why.

You don't have to like it. Have you, though, done anything in order to understand it, or have you just denied it as a possibility, buried your head in the sand, and done your best to pretend it's not there?

Is that an excuse you'd take from a student who's refusing to learn how to control a massive power? Or would you tell them that shutting it all away is irresponsible?

You don't know that. And that, right there, is my point. You don't know why it happens, because you never look into it, and you never look into it because it scares you. And Sam, I love you, but you still handle things about yourself that scare you the same as you always have.

And getting that checked out isn't even my point, honestly. But your girlfriend is looking into why things happen. Which is exactly what you'd tell a student who was having a strange power development to do. Hell, you told that bloody pseudo-nuts Phoenix girl to do that. If there were ever someone who should be bloody terrified of what's going on with them, there's someone who should. Yet you LIKE the Phoenix, so you don't worry about that.

I know that there's precious little that's going to stop the Phoenix. That isn't a problem that can be avoided.

Oh, something that can't be stopped, but you aren't losing sleep over that.

Face it, darling, you're projecting. Immensely. You're also making the very bold assumption that you know more than the people who are actually doing their homework.

May 9 and beyond - Sam's Apartment

Postby Victoria Valentine » Tue Jan 11, 2011 4:54 pm

The morning of the ninth, a bouquet of white roses would be delivered to Sam's door, with a card.

Not everyone has the patience to continue dealing with an utter bitch.

Thank you for having it.

May 15th - Sam's apartment

Samantha went to the door, looked through the fisheye lens, and then with a confused expression opened the door.

"...love?"
