Simon stood near the front door in his usual spot, wearing a black t-shirt and with his arms crossed. He gave a few nods to some of the more familiar patrons as the night started to become a bit busier, focusing on his work. truth be told he was a little distracted. After winning the game against the Commonwealth team she'd still been a little bitter and short with him, then she went off on some kind of secret mission he wasn't allowed to know anything about. So he was a little bit worried about her.

Simon almost didn't recognize Chloe at first. It certainly wasn't the type of outfit she normally wore. Nor was this the kind of place she normally frequented. At least as far as he knew it wasn't.

"May I see you ID please miss?" He asked. Better safe than sorry, she might just well be yet another lost sister.

Simon smiled and took Chloe's hand gently, leading her further inside as he signaled to one of the other gentlemen working there that he was taking a short break.

"Over here is the bar. You don't get many people sitting here, most people depend on the waitresses to get their drinks. It can be hard to watch the shows from here, which actually makes it a good spot to be if you want to get away from things for a bit."

"Actually, I'm not allowed to drink while I'm on duty, or accept gifts from customers. But I can see if I can get you a little something on the house." Simon smiled softly. He still seemed a little embarrassed by it all, considering how much Chloe opposed the idea of him working here at all.

Simon did a double take as he was ordering from the bar, leaning in closer. "You found something? You and Lucy on your own? Wow, that didn't take long at all! I wish I could've been a bigger help sweetheart, really. But I think you have a better idea of what to look for in this city than I do."

The bar usually catered to more masculine tastes but since mutants tended to be more open-minded about many things there was a decent listing of girly drinks, mostly favorites of the girls who worked there. The bartender placed a martini glass on the counter and drizzled some cold chocolate sauce in a spiral patter inside the glass before pouring in a mixture of Godiva chocolate liquer, Kahlua and Bailey's.

"Here," Simon said as he passed it to Chloe. "I think you'll like this one. It's pretty popular with some of the girls here."

"Heh, I thought you'd like that. Chocolate is an easy sell." Simon gave Chloe's waist a gentle squeeze, helping her navigate through the club.

"Well, there's the stages. I think you know what goes on there. Tables around for people to relax and talk with each other at, plus get in some lap dances. Back there" he said, pointing to a curtained doorway "are the booths for private shows. And the VIP lounge is upstairs."

"Are you sure? I think you might be dressed for the part." Simon teased, tugging Chloe toward one of the unused private rooms usually used for private shows. "Why don't we have a little audition?" Oh, he was being a total shit tonight.

Simon kissed the top of Chloe's head, holding her tightly in his long, strong arms.

"It's all fun and games when the villains wear capes and costumes, isn't it sweetheart? But when they're normal but twisted it's terrible. I'm sorry you've got to deal with them but I know you can do this."
