May 11th: After Classes

[Will Stanton]

"That's a handy power! Very handy indeed. I'll have to put you on rolodex."

[Isabel Galen]

"It has its downsides." Isabel said "but I do Ok. I'm pretty easy to find, just head to the infirmary."

[Will Stanton]

"I try to avoid that," she teased.

[Isabel Galen]

"Yeah, you guys have all the luck." Isabel said "But your baby might need me, even if you and your wife don't. I mean, I hope she doesn't but if she did...."

[Will Stanton]

"If she did, we'll be calling you up," she smiled. "The more the merrier, right?"

[Isabel Galen]

"Yeah, something like that." Isabel said, blushing a little.

[Will Stanton]

"You alright?"

[Isabel Galen]

"Yeah, I'm fine." Isabel said "I'm just kinda out of it."

[Will Stanton]

"Can I help?"

[Isabel Galen]

"Nah, nothing that fries and a beer can't cure." Isabel said "I'm alive and I didn't have to put a rat down, so I'm going to count it as a win."

[Will Stanton]

"That's...good.

...a rat?"

[Isabel Galen]

"When I heal someone , I um, absorb whatever is wrong with them. If I don't transfer it to another animal, I get hurt of sick or whatever. And since I like not dying horribly......" she shrugged "So they keep a bunch of rats for me at the infirmary. If they get hurt too bad, and there isn't a healer around who can patch them up, I have to put them down. Sucks, but I try to believe its no worse than animal testing."

[Will Stanton]

"Oh no! Was one paralyzed because of what happened to me?"

[Isabel Galen]

"No." Isabel said. "It was kinda weird, all her fur turned green and fell out, but otherwise she's fine. Like you said, your physiology is weird."

[Will Stanton]

"That's a relief."

[Isabel Galen]

"Yeah."
