"That I'm not sure of," he admitted. "Perhaps I'm just used to a certain level of paparazzi in my life. Granted, it's not something i've generally had to deal with here." He shook his head. "And sadly, I think this may have been more of a stab at you than me."

"Honestly, save for new and improved ammunition that some people have handed him, this isn't anything new. The backlash from it won't be, either." He looked up at her, a resigned expression on his face. "If you think it wise to put the wedding on hold until the tension dies down again, I'll understand."

Cassiel very visibly forced down a very elated expression, managing to tone things down to only 'pleased'. "Well, then we'll keep from getting too excite until we know for sure," he allowed, not quite truthfully. "And I'll drop the nonsense about putting off the wedding."
