May 9th - I'm pretty sure that's not normal

Two days after the fire Sara, with Robin on her arm and Will at her side knocks on the door to Sam's office.

[Samantha McManus]

"Come in, Sara and Will."

[Will Stanton]

Will opened the door for Sara, who had her hands full.

[Sara Stanton]

"And Robin." Sara smiles as she steps into Sam's office. "Good afternoon, Professor."

[Samantha McManus]

"What can I do for you?"

[Will Stanton]

"Wanted to introduce you to just about the cutest baby in the entire world."

[Samantha McManus]

Ms. McManus smiled.

"She's adorable, but I've a feeling that's not all you're here about."

[Sara Stanton]

"Well it's nothing big. Just in case, you know..."

[Will Stanton]

"I mean, she's fine, it's just..."

[Samantha McManus]

Ms. McManus just quirked a brow.

[Sara Stanton]

"Well..." Sara takes Robin's arm and makes silly noises at her while tugging on her arm.

[Robin Stanton]

And, sure enough, Robin's arm got a little longer as she giggled and gurgled.

[Samantha McManus]

"Well, as surprising as that may be to the both of you, I can't say as it's exactly unexpected."

[Sara Stanton]

"Yeah we just... well she seems to like it, we just figured that isn't entirely normal and would show it to you."

[Will Stanton]

"I mean, it's VERY young..."

[Samantha McManus]

"It's not entirely unknown for some mutants to manifest at birth or shortly after. The likelihood increases with mutant parents, especially those with complimentary powers."

[Sara Stanton]

"As long as you think she's fine too... That's all I wanted to hear." she smiles.

[Will Stanton]

"And also cute. She's very, very, VERY cute. Like, a cute singularity."

[Samantha McManus]

"It's actually often healthier for shapeshifters to manifest earlier in life. It means she'll be growing up with it, and won't have quite the same problems you two have had."

[Sara Stanton]

"I guess that makes sense. I was just worried it might be dangerous but she was laughing and all, so..."
