May 9th, morning. Outside Kyra's room

Bobby came up to the door and knocked three times.

The door swung open, and Kyra got up from the couch and walked over to Bobby, and hugged him "Hey, Bobby."

"Hey, beautiful. Having a good morning?" he asked, smiling.

[Kyra Raphael]

"Now I am." she said, smiling at him.

[Bobby Bowen]

Bobby pulled her close, looking into her eyes.

"I keep losing myself in these," he said, happily.

[Kyra Raphael]

"Flatterer." Kyra said, smiling at him. "Something tells me you didn't just come here to gaze into my eyes, though."

[Bobby Bowen]

He nodded after a few more minutes of eye gazing, turning and closing the door.

"I was contacted about doing some under-the-radar work for the X-men."

[Kyra Raphael]

"And I assume you agreed."

[Bobby Bowen]

"I did... these are some bad people, Kyra. Real bad."

[Kyra Raphael]

"Why do you have to be the one to stop them?" Kyra asked "Undercover work is dangerous, you could come back nuts, or not come back at all."

[Bobby Bowen]

"It's not just me. It's lots of mutants. Good mutants. We'll be fine. And I need to do this, because lots of people could be hurt if we don't do anything..."

Bobby tried to make it sound as simple and easy as possible, so she wouldn't worry too much.

[Kyra Raphael]

"How long will you be gone?" Kyra asked, struggling for self control.

[Bobby Bowen]

"Not long.. several days a couple weeks at the most.."

[Kyra Raphael]

"Ok." Kyra said "But if its longer than that, I'm going to come looking for you."

[Bobby Bowen]

Bobby smiled, pulling her into a deep embrace.

"I certainly hope so, gorgeous!"

[Kyra Raphael]

"And you better stay safe." Kyra continued hugging him fiercely "If you come back all scratched up or crazy, I'm kicking your ass."

Bobby smiled, kissing her.

"I'll promise not to get tooo scratched up. And I'll let you buff."

[Kyra Raphael]

"You are such a tease." Kyra said, kissing him "When do you have to leave?"

[Bobby Bowen]

"Not for a few hours.."

[Kyra Raphael]

"So, enough time for a proper goodbye."

[Bobby Bowen]

"I am completely in sync with your thoughts.." he replied, running a finger along her wingtip.

[Kyra Raphael]

"Excellent." Kyra said, shivering a bit.

[Bobby Bowen]

"Any requests?" he asked, smirking as his hand quivered and changed shape.

[Kyra Raphael]

"I just want to be with you." Kyra said "Anything else is a bonus."

[Bobby Bowen]

Bobby nodded, closing the door and warming her with his body.

"Your wish is my command, milady." he said, softly.

"Then come to bed." Kyra said as the camera panned to the window.
