"No," Ryan said firmly. "They can stitch me up here, I'm not staying in the infirmary tonight. We'll let them do their job, then we'll go find somewhere to stay."
Ryan glanced down, then at Will, then couldn't help chuckling a little. "Yeah, people getting hurt would be bad," he said, managing to force a straight face.
"If you don't want the compliments I could lecture you on the godawful stupidity of going in untrained and unequipped to fight a fire instead," Madison says, "Which would you rather?"
Good enough for tonight, Ryan thought. And maybe they wouldn't need a hotel for more than a night. "You guys need a place to crash?" he asked, looking at Will and Sara.
"But first you're going to the infirmary or at least Dr. Bowen unless you get rid of that stuff stuck in your face right now." Sara says, looking a little worried that Will hasn't shifted back to normal yet.
