May 6th: Bored, Bored, Bored.

[Isabel Galen]

Isabel sat in one of the triage rooms, turning a piece of paper towel into an oragami hippo.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"I'm telling you," a blonde girl in a football uniform said, "I'm fine. They already checked me out on the field."

She was accompanied by, indeed perhaps dragged there by a brunette that was quite a bit taller than her and looked a bit imposing.

[Hannah Murphy]

"We'll see," Murphy says, seeming perfectly willing and capable of actually dragging the football player in question.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"This is so embarrassing..."

[Isabel Galen]

"It won't hurt a bit." Isabel said, smiling at Janice "And it'll only be a sec, pinky promise."

[Janice Gilbertson]

"Well... okay," Janice said, blushing once she realized that someone had seen her get manhandled by the bigger girl.

She'd taken a few knocks on the football field, but nothing really serious.

[Isabel Galen]

"Come on in and take a seat on the table." Isabel said.

[Janice Gilbertson]

Janice nodded and did as Isabel asked, sparing a sidelong glance to Murphy.

[Isabel Galen]

"If I can hold your hand for a bit...." Isabel said, extending her own.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"Well... nothing happened to my hand, but if it'll help..."

She clasped Isabel's hand.

[Isabel Galen]

"You might feel a little tingle." Isabel said. After a moment she let go of Janice's hand and said "Just a few scrapes and some bruises. Your leg muscles are a bit overworked, but I can't really do much for that. But I can heal the other stuff if you want."

[Janice Gilbertson]

"I didn't think it was a huge emergency. Just... you know." She nodded towards Murphy.

[Isabel Galen]

"Yeah. Well, it never hurts to get checked out."

[Hannah Murphy]

"Was worried," Murphy says, a very faint note of apology in her voice.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"It's okay, Murphy. See? I'm fine."

[Hannah Murphy]

"Good," Murphy says, "Don't have to strangle stupid girl."

[Isabel Galen]

Isabel gave Murphy a look, but didn't say anything.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"She doesn't mean you."

[Isabel Galen]

"I didn't think she did." Isabel said.

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy just shrugged.

[Janice Gilbertson]

"But ah... yes. No strangling. This is a positive development."

[Isabel Galen]

"I enjoy not being strangled."

[Hannah Murphy]

"Wouldn't strangle you."

[Isabel Galen]

"Thanks."
