Robin kinda half-made an attempt to bat Simon's tail, unsuccessfully.

Simon couldn't help but laugh, trying to keep from getting too loud lest he make the poor girl cry. His tail hovered still, letting the little girl practice her motor movements.

"I remember learning in biology class that for the first few months we're all just fleshy, blurry blobs to them. It's more our smell and sounds that they recognize, not faces. She probably still smells you, that's why she isn't bawling."
