Apr 23: Your new home!

[Will Stanton]

Will opened the door, so Sara and Robin could easily enter.

[Sara Stanton]

"Welcome home, little cutie." Sara smiles at the baby in her arms as she steps inside.

[Onyx]

An out of place shadow was attempting to sit on the couch. It was not working well.

"Hello Will, Sara," Onyx says happily.

[Sara Stanton]

Sara blinks.

"Onyx, is that you? What happened?"

[Onyx]

"It is a long story," Onyx says, "I'm sorry. I was going to prepare some tea but I still am struggling with holding objects right now."

[Sara Stanton]

"That's fine... Are you going to be okay?"

[Onyx]

"Very much so," Onyx says, "How are you? How is Robin doing?"

[Will Stanton]

"She's great...come over here and take a look," Will smiled.

"If...uh, if that is you can move!"

[Sara Stanton]

"Don't be silly Will." she says and walks over to Onyx to sit down next to her.

[Will Stanton]

"But that's what I do?" Will said, coming over to sit on the other side of Onyx.

[Onyx]

Onyx smiles down at the baby, "She's so little and cute!"

"And I can move just fine, Will. It is just more like gliding then moving."

[Sara Stanton]

"Isn't she just? Say hi to Onyx, Robin." she smiles and carefully takes Robin's hand to make her 'wave'.

[Onyx]

"Hello, little one," Onyx says waving back at Robin.

[Will Stanton]

"She's perfect in pretty much every way," Will smiled

"Now, Robin, usually Onyx is a bit more three-dimensional, but she's still good people."

[Onyx]

"I will become solid as soon as possible ma'-," Onyx pauses and shakes her head, "If you want, I would very much like to help you with anything you need once I am more capable."

[Sara Stanton]

"It'd be pretty stupid of me to turn that down." she smiles.

[Will Stanton]

"Onyx...are you quite alright?" Will said, looking at her with a raised eyebrow.

[Onyx]

"I am not sure," Onyx says, "I died, was freed and got engaged in one day. I think I am still in shock."

[Will Stanton]

"Wait, what what what!?"

[Onyx]

"It was a very busy day," Onyx says, "I am sorry I did not come to see you earlier though."

[Will Stanton]

"No, no, you clearly had a very good...SERIES of excuses! What what what tell us?"

[Sara Stanton]

"You.. wow... what? Congratulations!"

[Onyx]

Onyx proceeds to tell the whole story, starting with her getting shot.

"...And then Alyson proposed to me and I said yes."

[Sara Stanton]

To say Sara was speechless for a moment after hearing that would probably not quite cut it. She's staring at Onyx with her mouth actually hanging open a little.


"That... that are incredible news! I'm so happy to hear about that!" She pauses. "I'd hug you but I'm not quite sure how right now."

[Will Stanton]

"...you lead a very odd life, Onyx," Will blinked.

"But that's...I mean, wow...What a day, huh?"

[Onyx]

Onyx nods, "I am sorry I am no longer working for you, Sara. But I want to promise that I'll help with Robin! I mean, if you need help."

[Sara Stanton]

"That's okay." she beams. "You don't have to be working for me to help taking care of her."

[Will Stanton]

"Yeah, really, mi casa su casa. Anytime you want, Onyx. I KNOW we're gonna need all the help we can get."

[Onyx]

"I will be happy to help," Onyx says, "Day or night you can call me for anything."

[Will Stanton]

"YOu hear that Robbie? Onyx is gonna help you, just as soon as she becomes 3D again...

...have you talked to a doctor or anything? About being, y'know, shadowy?"

[Onyx]

"I am not sick," Onyx says.

[Will Stanton]

"Well, sometimes they can be good at diagnosing power surges, that's all I meant."

[Sara Stanton]

"Trust him, he knows from experience." she smiles fondly.

[Onyx]

"I will not see a doctor," Onyx says firmly.

[Will Stanton]

"Alright! We're just worried, that's all."

[Onyx]

"Thank you," Onyx says with a nod, "But I am sure you have more important things to worry about."

[Will Stanton]

"Then my friends and family? No, I really don't," he smiled. "And I told you before--you're like a member of our family."

[Sara Stanton]

"As long as you feel alright." Sara smiles. "And if you need any help with the planning you two just come and ask. We just went through all that hassle." she chuckles.
