The car in front of Robin's

[Sara Stanton]

Sitting in the back of the refurbished military jeep Sara has been sitting in a bit of an awkward silence next to McDohl.

[MsChif]

"Why have you been so quiet around me, Sara?" She asked nicely, as if nothing had ever happened between them.

[Sara Stanton]

"We... don't exactly get along all that well, but you probably remember that." she says carefully.

[MsChif]

"I shouldn't say it, but we do get along pretty well after a while. The young me was very impulsive and didn't plan ahead for anything. Just try to keep at it, she'll come around... she's still learning.."

[Sara Stanton]

"Well you shouldn't have been learning at Will's expense." she points out, although she doesn't make it sound like too much of an accusation.

[MsChif]

"In my defense, Will was just a catalyst, he was easy to work with...." She stopped herself, before continuing. "I'm sorry, I'm just making excuses. I'll just say this... Will can do so much more, he just needs the right support. I know for a fact that I am not the support he needs. I have the information about him, but only you can be there for him..."

[Narrator]

There was some shifting movements from behind Sara Stanton.

[Sara Stanton]

"He can do too much. But you're right in that he doesn't need the... 'encouragement' from you..." she says, trailing off as she's distracted and turns her head around.

[MsChif]

"Sara, I'm not going to argue with you. I respect our friendship too much to jeopardize it with something like this.." She stops herself, turning about to look as well.

[Narrator]

There was a lump trying to hide under a blanket.

[Sara Stanton]

"I'm not trying to argue." she sighs, being distracted by McDohl before she can notice the lump moving. "It's just frustrating, but I guess I probably told you about that years ago..."

[MsChif]

"We have, a couple of times to be honest. I just don't want you to think that I'm always going to be a pain in your ass..." She trailed for a second.. "at least not a completely pain." She said with a smile.

[Sara Stanton]

"I'm just worried about Will. Or was."

[MsChif]

"Was? What do you mean by that?"

[Sara Stanton]

"Well from your point of view..."

[Narrator]

There was another shift, this time with a small noise.

[MsChif]

"Oh, very true. He has grown very well, but that was because he had you all the time. I just provided you with the information..."

[Sara Stanton]

"Did you hear that?" She turns her head and looks behind her seat again.

[MsChif]

MsChif just starts to giggle.

[Anarchy]

"Can I come out now, Mom?"

[Sara Stanton]

"You brought your little kid along? On such a dangerous trip?" she asks, baffled.

[MsChif]

"Actually, she's a stow away. I just noticed she was there before we left, and didn't say anything." She said with a smile, taking Kimee's hand and helping her into the set in between the two Sara's.

[Anarchy]

"Hey Ms. Sara!" The young girl said happily out from behind the seat.

[Sara Stanton]

"What if something happens to her?" she whispers intensely enough that Kimee can hear her anyway.

[MsChif]

"She's a tough kid, plus I'll be here to protect her." She said, wrapping her arm around her daughter, pulling her into a hug.

[Sara Stanton]

"But why take the risk?" she asks Kimee as much as Sara.

[Anarchy]

"I don't want to stay with Aunt Vicky anymore.." She said softly. "I'm tired of Vivian.."

[Sara Stanton]

Sara blinks.

"Okay, I have nothing to say against that..."

[Anarchy]

"See Mom! I knew people would understand my reason." She said with a bright smile.

[Sara Stanton]

"I just don't like the price she asks for keeping people safe. I can see why you'd want to leave that place..."

[Anarchy]

"I really don't understand why you've stayed there so long, Mom. She took my sister!" The young girl exclaimed.

[MsChif]

Sara just looked away, partially ashamed of herself, but really didn't have a response to give her daughter. She had really made a mess out of this one. "Nick..I should have told you about all this..things might have been different..", she thought to herself.

[Sara Stanton]

"And people wonder why I don't like Victoria..."

[Anarchy]

Kimee just looked away from her mother, annoyed that she would refused to answer her.
