McManus Hall: Room 16 (Team 1 Meeting)

[Ryan Gabriel]

"If you decide that you want to hand that guy's ass to him," Ryan grunted, stepping out of the boat, then turning around to offer Zoe a hand should she still need one, "Please let me come along. It almost hurt pretending that I didn't want to knock him in the face. He wants to meet with you before the full moon," he told Sam.

[Domanic Taylor]

"See?" Lumis smiles. "Better than I expected."

"Congratulations, Team 1."

Lumis stands by for the team's debarking.

[Samantha McManus]

She looked them over with some concern.

"Yes, well I shan't make a liar out of you. I rather think I'll pay him a visit considerably earlier, given the state of you."

[Will Stanton]

"Well, you should see the other guys," Will says with a crooked grin. "That being said, I'm not entirely sure I'll be moving tomorrow."

"It was some guy named...Wild....something. Wild...something with a P...weird tattoos and stuff all over his body."

[Samantha McManus]

"Confirms Liam's suspicions then. He's a Yank, born to immigrant parents, supposedly blessed by the Celtic deities."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Willpride," Ryan said. "And he said that he was 'directly bound to the goddess, as well as two gods, so that he would surely know if an avatar of the Morrigan was around'," Ryan said, paraphrasing Willpride's words in mocking tones. "This after he let a giant, a goblin, and that horse thing attack us. Seriously, this guy's a douche who needs a good smacking."

[Will Stanton]

"Well, you'd know more about that than me. I'm just glad we didn't have to tangle with him."

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita climbs gracefully out of the boat, helping her team out.

"I wouldn't mind hearin' about how he got tore up, that's for sure."

[Samantha McManus]

"We have enough fuel to head right back, or will it need to be topped? I'd rather not let grass grow under this."

[Will Stanton]

"She should be ready to go...I think."

[Domanic Taylor]

Lumis makes a motion with his hand, and the boat's driver starts refueling.

"Do you need backup, Sam?"

[Samantha McManus]

"The idea was that we weren't going to panic him with multiple heavy-hitters, aye?"

"I'll stay in telepathic contact."

[Domanic Taylor]

"Your life has a lot more value than Wildpride's mental state. But I trust you to handle it. Keep me posted."

[Samantha McManus]

"Less that I'm worried about offending him and more that I've no interest in finding out what he's capable of when he's backed into a corner."

[Domanic Taylor]

"Good luck, hopefully we can get this done with right away."

[Samantha McManus]

She nodded to all present, and got into the boat.

[Will Stanton]

"Good luck, ma'am. Stay safe."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Would the presence of medium-hitters hurt the negotiatons?" Ryan asked, clearly not liking the idea of her going in alone.

[Domanic Taylor]

"You're wounded, Seraph. Morrigan can handle herself."

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan sighed, then nodded. "Yes, sir. Good luck."

He shook his head as he backed away from the boat. "I need a fucking drink," he muttered.

[Anita Fernandez]

"I gotta get ta sleep if I'm gonna get up for trainin' tomorrow."

[Zoe Walker]

"Ditto. So, uh, yeah. I'm not sure of what to make of that, the guy seemed a little off his rocker."

[Samantha McManus]

"Not that I don't appreciate the offer Ryan, but unless I'm misjudging your body language at least one of your ribs decided to take a swim tonight. You need to get that looked at."

[Will Stanton]

"Yes, standing is not a lot fun right now, and walking is less so, so I may have to just slink off to my room at this point..."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"You know that I've dealt with worse," Ryan said, a bit defensively, but he wasn't trying to press the issue anymore. "Just be careful."

[Samantha McManus]

"With luck, I won't be long."

She nodded to the man at the wheel to go on.

[Domanic Taylor]

"Good luck, Samantha."

Lumis watches as the boat drives off.
