[Elizabeth Miller]

"To success." Serena said, clinking her champagne glass against Bobby's.

[Bobby Bowen]

"Well, to a really good start, at least."

Bobby smiled, his dinner suit shifting smoothly as he extended his own glass.

"Thanks for sharing the moment with me- I'm really glad you said yes."

[Elizabeth Miller]

"Its my pleasure." Serena replied "We've all been through so much lately, we need time to relax and enjoy the good things when they come."

[Bobby Bowen]

"For sure. tonight, all out problems are left at the door."

He took a moment to enjoy the vast, plush interior of the dining room before turning back to Elizabeth.

"So, anything catch your eye yet for dinner?"

[Elizabeth Miller]

"The salmon was tempting." She replied "But the scallops are appealing as well."

[Bobby Bowen]

"I think I'll settle on a good, old fashioned steak."

Putting the menu down to the side he returned his eyes to Serena.

"You look beautiful tonight."

[Elizabeth Miller]

"Thank you." Serena said, preening at the compliment "You look very smart yourself."

[Bobby Bowen]

"Thank you as well."

Bobby smiled, enjoying the date greatly so far.

"So, how have things been going for you since we had lunch? Only good things get mentioned, of course."

[Elizabeth Miller]

"Nothing terribly exciting, really." Serena replied "Its been very quiet. Which is a nice change, honestly."

[Bobby Bowen]

"Well, let's make this the highlight of both our weeks, then!"

[Elizabeth Miller]

"It already is." Serena said, smiling at Bobby.

[Bobby Bowen]

Bobby grinned, expressing the same sentiment.

"How do you feel about dancing?"

[Elizabeth Miller]

"I enjoy it quite a lot." Serena replied, smirking a little.

[Bobby Bowen]

"Well, I was thinking more about the kind where I can participate equally," he mused, gesturing towards the large, sparsely populated dance floor.

[Elizabeth Miller]

"I like that kind to." Serena said, smiling in amusement.

[Bobby Bowen]

"Then care to join me?" He asked, reaching out for her hand.

[Elizabeth Miller]

"That sounds lovely." Serena said, taking his hand.

[Bobby Bowen]

Bobby took her hand warmly, leading her to the dance floor.

Pulling her close, he began to move in tune to the slow music, enjoying himself even if his moves weren't the best.

[Elizabeth Miller]

Serena pressed up against Bobby, following his lead and moving with profound grace.

[Bobby Bowen]

Bobby shouldn't have been as impressed as he was, having become very familiar with Elizabeth's other style of dancing. Yet there he was, marveling at how easily she moved on her feet.

"You make this look easy." He said.

[Elizabeth Miller]

"I have a good partner."

[Bobby Bowen]

"Glad to help."

Smiling, he twirled her on the center of the floor.

[Elizabeth Miller]

"I could get used to this." Serena said, as she whirled back into him.

[Bobby Bowen]

"Well, I'm up for making this a regular encounter," he replied, smiling.

[Elizabeth Miller]

"I'd like that." Serena said, smiling at Bobby.

[Bobby Bowen]

Bobby nodded, leading her through the song, and back to the table.

"Any places you like to go in London? I'm still kind of new."

[Elizabeth Miller]

"Maybe Hyde Park?" she suggested

[Bobby Bowen]

"Hyde Park, hmm? It's pretty big, right?"

[Elizabeth Miller]

"It is, but there is lots to do."

[Bobby Bowen]

"Oh, more than just walking and enjoying the foliage?"

[Elizabeth Miller]

"Indeed there is." Serena said "There are lots of things to look at."

[Bobby Bowen]

"Well, there certainly will be, with you along for the stroll," he replied, smiling.

[Elizabeth Miller]

"The Speaker's Corner can be interesting too." Serena said "Unless some anti-mutant wanker is ranting."

[Bobby Bowen]

"Oh? What is that? An open area for giving a public speech?"

[Elizabeth Miller]

"Yeah, traditionally anyone who wants to can say whatever they want about anything they like."

[Bobby Bowen]

Bobby looked thoughtful.

"I wonder if any mutant speakers have been there.."

[Elizabeth Miller]

"I don't know for certain, but its likely they have."

[Bobby Bowen]

"Sounds like something for me to look into.. I don't mean to bore you, Elizabeth."

Smiling, he rested his hand on hers.
