Powers: Melody is capable of creating small plasma "timebombs" that she is able to detonate at will. These bombs can vary greatly in intensity, ranging from the strength of cheap Fourth of July fireworks to powerful plastic explosives (in small quantities at least). Realistically speaking, the low end of her power would be similiar to an M80 going off, and the upper limit (unless she trained incredibly hard with a good tutor) would be something capable of severely damaging a house, or completely toppling a small building if placed at a key structural support. The power of the explosion is typically related to the size of the bomb she creates, but with a lot of concentration and luck, she can vary the intensity regardless of size. She's capable of throwing her bombs about as far as a skilled athlete could throw a ball.

History: Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Melody has lived a good life. Raised by her father, mostly due to a messy divorce, she attended public schools until her powers surfaced and then went on to complete high school at Emma Frost's Academy of Tomorrow. While her relationship with her father is excellent, her mother was distant before she became a mutant and disowned her once powers became known. Though she tends to dress rather fashionably now, for much of her youth she was a tomboy, and her tolerance for most things "girly" is rather limited.

Minor details: Majoring in chemistry, Melody hopes to be a scientist of some sort.
Enjoys watching and playing sports (volleyball and softball), plays trumpet, and is a skilled cook.

Range? About as far as a regular human can throw, perhaps a little bit longer than that since the things are pretty light.

She can somewhat vary how long the things have until they pop.
