Shopping and Surprises

[Onyx]

Onyx nods, "Don't worry. It won't take me long."

[Alyson Gregory]

"Take your time." Alyson said "A wedding is an important occasion."

[Onyx]

Onyx nods, "I will be careful in deciding."

Onyx walks away coming back after a bit with several dresses, all in Will and Sara's wedding colors.

"What kind of dress should a flower girl wear?"

[Alyson Gregory]

"I'm not sure." Alyson said "I'd say something simple and kind of, I don't know fresh and innocent looking?"

[Onyx]

Onyx shuffles through the dresses for a moment, "Alright. Be right back."

Onyx disappears into the changing room and returns in something that matches Alyson's description. Almost modestly cut while being light and airy.

"What do you think?"

[Alyson Gregory]

"I think it looks lovely." Alyson said with a little smile of approval. "You've got a very good eye."

[Onyx]

"Thank you," Onyx says smiling brightly, "I hope Ms. Evans likes it."

[Alyson Gregory]

"I'm sure she will." Alyson replied "But it might be a good idea to send her a picture."

[Onyx]

"Would you?" Onyx asks, "It would be nice to know that she likes it."

[Alyson Gregory]

"Sure thing." Alyson said, quickly snapping a picture "And its sent."

Is this a good flower girl dress?

After a few moments Alyson's phone buzzes.

Onyx beams, looking excited, "This is gonna be great."

[Alyson Gregory]

"I think it will be." Alyson said as she texted Sara back.

Yeah, its fun. About to head back. Shopping is done.

[Onyx]

Onyx goes back to change, gathering the dresses they picked out and heading to the counter to pay.

[Alyson Gregory]

"You don't have to pay for mine." Alyson protested.

[Onyx]

"It is not a problem," Onyx says, "I want to. And I have a large allowance from Ms. Valentine."

[Alyson Gregory]

"And my father gives me money from time to time." Alyson said "You should spend your money on yourself."

[Onyx]

Onyx frowns, thinking for a moment.

"I want to get you a gift," Onyx says, "If...you let me. I will go to the party at the palace."

[Alyson Gregory]

"You don't have to go to the party, if you don't want to." Alyson said "But, ok, if it means that much to you, I'd be glad to accept the gift."

[Onyx]

Onyx beams at Alyson, paying for the dresses and following the girl out the door.

[Alyson Gregory]

"Ready to head back to the school?" Alyson asked.

[Onyx]

"Of course," Onyx says.

[Alyson Gregory]

"Lets go, then." Alyson said.
