(Another one being submitted early; the age and history are temporary, waiting for discussions with Eureka about a possible grad student)
Name: Douglas Decker
Hometown: Lockerbie, Scotland
Age: 23
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 105
Powers: Douglas has the ability to basically project himself into and through electronics, and can control said electronics. Laptops, televisions, with obviously greater effort security systems--he can enter and control them all, though if there's any AI present (much less an actual consciousness, hi there Maddie), it's not a free action--a bit of a battle of wills, with better AI having a better chance of stopping him cold. He is able to move freely through phone systems, and control cell phones. His movement speed is based on the speed of the network for normal data transmission, allowing him better movement and control in urban areas rather than the countryside.
Personality: Doug is an odd one. He sometimes has issues segregating people from just very complex AIs and the like--a classmate is just as 'real' as the program he whipped up to do X Y or Z. He also has an issue with the concept of an opinion--clearly, the data trends for thing X to be clearly the best of subject Y. This is not to say he is emotionless, or doesn't understand why people make mistakes, like liking a food better than a different kind; it's just that he recognizes them as what they are, mistakes, caused by human error. He's inquisitive, and generally a good guy to have around--if you can put up with his oddities.
Doug is a graduate student in advanced AI construction and computer security systems; his records state that he graduated from Cambridge with nothing but As, and his work certainly backs that record up, though it's possible he did not actually enroll in some of those classes. Possibly.
