Atropha, in one of her flowing dresses glides down the stairs to the lobby and, unlike the other underlings, doesn't seem to care about keeping a distance when she makes her way into the bar and orders a vodka cranberry.

He glanced up at her as she sat down, nodding a silent greeting. "Guess you convinced The General of your usefulness. Not bad."

"I believe for the time being I won't have to worry about the later." she says, sipping her drink.

"Mmm. So I've found the first informant who thinks herself untouchable. Cute," he murmured, glancing over at her. He caught himself admiring her face...and other things.

She lets out a short laugh. "Not quite who I meant."

He only cocked an eyebrow, as if to ask for 'who.' Or perhaps just for a clue.

Atropha just shoots him a faint smirk and sips on her drink.

"Order is a tool, nothing more. You tell him what to do, he gets it done," he said with a smirk. "That's part of the reason why he's a grunt, m'dear, and I'm not."

"I suppose you need those in the greater scheme of things. Still. So... unsophisticated."

Richard nodded in agreement. "Still, he's useful to keep around. No one stays here long if they aren't."

"No," he agreed. "You're far too lovely for that." He gave her the kind of look that probably made her feel naked, or at least mostly undressed.

"Why thank you. Who would have thought you'd appreciate someone with such an... obvious mutation." she says, running her finger along the rim of her glass. Though despite her demeanor there's something else playing around the smile on her face.

"Of course. Not wanting to be with your own kind, why that'd be awfully hypocritical. Or maybe they just fight back too much?"

"Now why would I do something stupid like that. I know people don't trust me still, but why the hostility when I'm merely trying to be honest with you?"

"Tch, honesty." So that's what they call threats now. If her goal had been to catch him of guard, she was certainly successful.

"I'm listening."

"The one over in Lambeth. Just a handful of people, no full-blown assault, but still a considerable threat."
