Rob was hard at work, overseeing the gathering of provisions for their trip to Wundagore while checking their route on a map provided by Vivien.

Daniel walked in with yet another box of provisions, getting the distinct impression that he was being used as grunt labor to keep him out of any sort of planning.

"Do we have transportation for this little trek?" Aiden asked as he approached Rob.

Stan was also making some prep, packing some kits into the assembled containers.

"We've got a great big convoy," Rob says with a serious face, "Rockin' through the night."

"The convoy won't mean anything if we get spotted," Stan replied.

"Hopefully she's a beautiful sight," Aiden said leaning against a crate.

"We'll burn that bridge when we come to it," Rob says, "If Vivien's map is right, we'll be avoiding large patrol sections. We might not even see any Sentinels."

"Just be wary. A map is good, but aren't always accurate."

"Magic I suppose," Aiden said, "Or perhaps I will carry you over."

"This map is correct," Vivien said as she walked in on Stan's comment. "I spent the night scrying and enspelling the map to be completely current. Unless things have changed as of this morning, the map will serve us."
"And the channel will not present any problems. It will be solid ice by the time we arrive at it."

"Hey, sweetie," Rob says, kissing Vivien on the cheek, "Did you get everything ready?"

Stan gritted, his teeth, packing more provisions.
"Stealth might be worth considering, in this respect. And a frozen English Channel might be noticed."

"Very well. I will, of course, defer to any alternatives you present," Vivien said, nodding graciously toward Stan.

"Small, silent watercraft might be a good compromise. Do you have that capability?" Stan inquired, being as gracious as possible.

"We do not, in general, travel beyond our borders here. We have, shall we say, something of a complete shortage of boats? Although if you have them, naturally, it would be acceptable."

"I can swim if it comes to that," Aiden said, "I promise not to chuck you overboard."

Rob chuckles a bit, adjusting his hat. Content to watch the argument proceed.

Vivien merely sat down next to Rob, not feeling inclined to argue the merits of the existing plan versus the paranoia-induced alternate being developed.

"Alright, but moving supplies onto the boats is gonna be a bitch," Rob says, looking at his plans and scratching his head, "Doable though."

"We will also have to walk on the other side of the channel, unless the boats you can procure can carry our transportation," Vivien remarked idly.

"Does the mutant resistance have any assets on the French side of the channel, Will?"

"I'm not entirely sure--it's not that well organized.
It IS, afterall, the French."

"I suppose this would all be simpler if I just opened a gate into France, wouldn't it," Vivien said to Rob, sighing a little melodramatically.

"Teleportation would be quicker, more than offsetting any detection it might give the English authorities, yes.
I mean, again, France."

"Naturally. Undetectability is, usually, built into the spell," Vivien confirmed.

"How far can you teleport us? Even if we get to France, it's still a long way to Transia," Rick asked in passing, also helping with the loading of supplies.

"Not all the way to the mountains, if that is what you are asking," Vivien answered coolly.

'Well, as far as possible then, anyway. The less time we are out in the open, the better."

"Best to go rural France, and skirt along the outside, there, along the original planned route," Will added in.

Vivien was listening and nodding. "As far as possible, and into rural France. Very well. Load the vehicles, and I will do the rest," she said, her face impassive.

Vivien looked at him with a quirked eyebrow, then smiled. "Of course I am. It's not, of course, the simplest means of travel, but it will, of course, do."
