everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, would find themselves forced to opposite sides of the room by a forcefield of some sort. and, after a bright flash, everyone would find they could not use their mutant powers, nor any technology they had access to. even Captain Britains magical powers would be found to be dampened greatly.

nephalim would find his attempt at psychic communication was being dampened. It was clear his boss was running the show for the moment.

Once everyone was seated, the heroes on one side and the henchmen on the other, there Was an uncomfortable pause, as if the question of how to proceed was being decided.
