The Crystal Palace: Stan's quarters

[Stan Bowen]

Stan was sitting on the edge of his bed, watching the open door.

[Robin Stanton]

"Someone said something about a meeting?" Robin asks, poking her head through the door.

[Taliesin]

"Very covert, Robin," Taliesin deadpanned, walking in.

[Robin Stanton]

"Like she doesn't have invisible monkey-spies or something in our rooms anyway."

[Stan Bowen]

"Exactly. We won't be getting much privacy anywhere, based on the situation. So We'll make this quick."

[John Hino]

John entered the room quietly, with a look that said 'I hope I'm not late.'

[Talos]

Talos followed suit, sporting a rather ratty cloak.

"Have I mentioned I hate this place?"

[Stan Bowen]

Stan nodded.

"Magic and science don't mesh well. Ask Tony Stark. Or Doctor Doom."

[Talos]

"Not so much that as all the magical creatures giving me the stink-eye."

[Stan Bowen]

"Understandable, though."

Stan looked around, and began his talk.

"I just want us to be on the same page. Right now, myself and the rest of the X-Men from the past need to get back to our time. We don't belong here."

[Talos]

"I agree wholeheartedly."

[Stan Bowen]

"Now, that has to be our first priority. Our second priority is doing what we can to prevent this future from happening. Your past selves don't deserve this."

[Taliesin]

Taliesin nodded.

[Stan Bowen]

"And the third priority is giving what aid we can, while we are still here. I wish we could do more to help you, I really do."

[Talos]

"For better or worse, Rob West has a good shot at helping us."

[Stan Bowen]

Stan grunted at that.

"That brings up my next point. Robert West."

[John Hino]

"No offense Dr Bowen," John said, "But he's the only one of us who has the know-how to get us home. I don't see what choice we have but to give him the benefit of the doubt."

[Stan Bowen]

"I'm well aware of the situation at the moment, John. All I am saying is that I don't think we can trust Robert fully. We may yet find another way home, Especially if we find this Tir Na Nog. But for now, we need Robert a lot more than he needs us. Keep an eye out another way to get home. And especially keep an eye on Robert."

[Skeiron]

Skeiron grunted a bit in agreement.
