"Hm? No, I'm not! Err, I mean, I am taking this seriously, though."

"...okay, a little nervous."

"We ride to battle, young sir. Nothing more glorious. Keep your head up.

"No, I've been in a few fights before. But never quite this far from home, and not against someone like Apocalypse."

"Ah, of course. Well, types like him don't show up every day, now, do they?"

"No, thank God. What about you, do you have any experience against people like this?"

Roland smiled, ruefully.

"Some."

"If you're hoping for straight answers you're barking up the wrong tree, Mr. Wakely." Nailah comments from the next seat over, sounding amused.

Brett just smirked, then unbuckled himself from the seat and stood up. "Excuse me, I think I need to walk around for a minute."

He got up and searched Kaylee, who was apparently out of her own seat at the moment.

Kaylee was leaning back against a wall, arms folding down at her mid-section. She was obviously lost in thought. When she noticed Brett she smiled, giving him a little wave.

He nodded. "I'm just glad that you seem to be all right. So, you as nervous about this mission as I am?," he asked, lowering his tone.

"Hey, at least your team successfully returned your Horseman back to us. Lora...got away," he said, looking down, as he leaned on the same wall that she was on.

"Yeah. That's something I guess. Though the Horsemen are so little the issue..as Apocalypse himself is." She smiled. "Besides, you guys did defeat her. That's a good sign. You guys might of basked in your awesomeness a little too long maybe." She said, trying to cheer him up..even a little.

"Yup. Now he's bullying around even the little kids at Xavier's. Can't let him do that." He was quiet for a moment. "You went to Xavier's in New York, right?"

"Hm? No...actually. I never went. It think it would of been nice but where I ended up was fine. It was a lab on Muir Island. They tested my power..and saw all it was capable of. I also learned to control it better and understood exactly what it did."
