Feb 23rd: The Long and Winding Road

[Sara Stanton]

She just nods.



After they're done eating she pushes herself out of her chair. "Why don't you start on the dishes. I'll be right back, okay?"

[Will Stanton]

"Certainly," he said, getting up and running the water.

[Sara Stanton]

"Thanks." she says and slips into the bedroom.


After a bit she cracks open the door and peeks out to see if Will is still in the kitchen. Seeing that he is she hurries over to the armchair and drapes herself into it. She's wearing the fake glasses and 'conservative' get up Will had seen on cellphone pictures (although it isn't fitting quite as well as it used to)

"The pudding's in the fridge. Oh and one spoon will do for now." she adds.

"Right, fridge," Will said, not yet turning around, then digging into the silverware drawer for a spoon.

[Sara Stanton]

"No dallying." she says loudly.

[Will Stanton]

"What the heck do you MEAN no dal..." he said, turning around, and stopping.

[Sara Stanton]

"That's 'What the heck do you mean, ma'am'." she says sternly. If you ignore the faint smile anyway.

[Will Stanton]

"Yes, right, of course," he said, fumbling with a spoon and hurrying over.

[Sara Stanton]

"Thank you hun." she smiles. "Oh wait. Here." Grabbing a pillow from the couch she puts it on the floor next to the armchair.

[Will Stanton]

Will, very quickly, came and sat crosslegged on the pillow.

[Sara Stanton]

"And why did you bring the pudding and a spoon?" she asks teasingly.

[Will Stanton]

"So we could have dessert?"

[Sara Stanton]

"Well, maybe. But first I'm having dessert and you're going to feed it to me."

[Will Stanton]

"Alright," he said. "Hence the one spoon, huh?"

[Sara Stanton]

"Oh no no, the spoon is in case you get to have some later."

[Will Stanton]

"Oh," Will said, shifting one of his fingers into a spoon. "Like this, then?"

[Sara Stanton]

"How else?" she smirks.

[Will Stanton]

"How else, indeed," he said, scooping up some pudding and offering it.

[Sara Stanton]

Sara takes the offer and certainly doesn't make a point out of licking the pudding off the 'spoon'. Nope. Not at all.

[Will Stanton]

Will quivered just a tiny tiny bit, and scooped up some more.

[Sara Stanton]

Sara just continues letting Will feed her scoops of pudding, occasionally dragging her teeth along the spoon or even biting down on it and holding it in her mouth a bit while she eats the pudding off of it.

[Will Stanton]

Will, for his part, was letting the 'spoon' take up more and more of his hand, until his arm just below the elbow ended in a spoon.

[Sara Stanton]

"Very nice." Sara says after a while, reaching over to stroke Will's head.

"You can have some too now and once you're done I think this armchair could really use a footrest." she smiles.

[Will Stanton]

"Gladly," Will said, digging into the tiny remnants of the pudding, before quickly sliding his frame over under Sara's feet. "Tell me when," he said, going lower and lower.

[Sara Stanton]

"Stop. That's a good spot." she says, stretching out in the armchair a bit.

[Will Stanton]

Will stopped, and his features blurred a little bit as he became softer and squishier, though still recognizably Will for now, balancing Sara's feet on his chest.

[Sara Stanton]

"More... footrest-y." she says, letting herself sink into the cushions a little more and sliding her legs along her 'footrest' in the process.

[Will Stanton]

"That's not a word," he smiled, but even so, he kept going, ending up as a green, leather ottoman.

[Sara Stanton]

"You got what I meant." she chuckles, nudging Will with her foot.

[Will Stanton]

The cushion seemed to get a little softer at that, letting Sara's feet sink in a little more.

[Sara Stanton]

"Aah.... You have no idea how good this feels after walking through the snow."

[Will Stanton]

In response, Sara's feet actually began to slide inside the ottoman, to be surrounded by cushion on all sides.

[Sara Stanton]

"Mmmm now that is an excellent idea."

[Will Stanton]

And, sure enough soon, even the tips of Sara's toes slide inside their leather cushiony coffin, encased in the warm sensation.

Sara closes her eyes and just enjoys the feeling for a while before eventually opening one eye halfway to peek at Will.


"Think you could pull off a foot massage like this?"

[Will Stanton]

And, as if responding to her question (because....it was...), the insides of the cushion began to churn and twist, rubbing back and forth over Sara's feet.

[Sara Stanton]

She lets out a soft sigh and almost melts into the cushions. "Ooh yes... I think I'm about to zone out here. You just keep going..."

[Will Stanton]

And kept going he did.

Gradually, the ottoman got a bit longer as more of Sara's legs started vanishing.

[Sara Stanton]

Which she only really notices when her calves start being wrapped up.

"Eh eh eh, who allowed you to do that?" she smiles down at Will.

[Will Stanton]

Like a shot, the ottoman returned to normal size.
