Power: Daphne can pass through solid matter, so long as that matter is less than a foot thick at any point where she is touching it. She can pass through walls, floors, windows, or objects... whether she wants to or not, sometimes. ((the thickness restriction is basically just to explain why she doesn't keep falling through the ground when she finally hits it))

Background: Daphne was born in a commune in New Hampshire. Very free-spirited and curious, she enjoyed growing up in the group environment with the multitude of mother, father, and sibling figures all around. When she was young, she was always turning up where she was least expected, and this only increased, to everyone's amusement, as she got older and her powers developed. When she was old enough, and had taken the required tests to prove that her education on the commune had prepared her to keep up with the curriculum set by the state of New York, she convinced (after much begging and pleading and cute 'pleeeeease' eyes) her parents that she reeeeeally wanted to go to the Xavier's school that Byrna Cooper had said was soooooooo great.

Personality: Daphne is, as stated, a very curious and outgoing girl. She loves life, loves the world, loves other people, and always likes to show it. She has a strong sense of adventure, pays the minimum necessary respect to the idea of 'personal property', and doesn't quite get the need for privacy.
