Power: Vector manipulation. Cassie is able to redirect matter and energy that's within a certain distance from herself. The area of effect is relatively small, usually only within a meter or so from herself and direct contact is often the most reliable method of using her abilities.
Cassie's ability are linear in nature. She can only redirect things in straight lines currently. Whether this is something that can be improved with time has yet to be seen.
Description: Cassie has dark brown hair and eyes and wears glasses to adjust for her very poor eyesight. She keeps her hair long and enjoys wearing colorful and modest clothing.
Background: Cassie's mother moved from the Phillipines to the United States before she was born. Her mother was a mutant with some minor telepathic abilities, which she used to great effect in succeeding as a small business owner.
Cassie never knew her father. According to her mother, he was some businessman that she met while traveling and although Cassie has inquired multiple times about it her mother remains silent on specific questions about his identity,
Cassie's abilities manifested when the girl was ten. She's reluctant to talk about the incident, but the facts on file state that she threw a post office box into a store front, seriously injuring two people.
Her mother reluctantly enrolled Cassie in the Academy of Tomorrow, where the girl completed her education before moving on to enroll at Xavier University.
