Power Explanation
Stephanie has what's best described as mutant lycanthropy. She's capable of shifting into a hybrid wolf-human form with enhanced senses, reflexes and strength, as well as a full wolf form. Even in her human form, her physique is enhanced to that of a professional athlete, and her senses are decidedly more acute than your average human (or mutant). As she discovered her powers at a relatively late age, she's still coming to grips with their effects and learning more about them, and often clashes with the "wolf" inside her.

History
Raised in an upper-middle class household in the suburbs of Chicago, Stephanie lived a pretty carefree life. She was talented both musically and athletically, and had high hopes for her academic future in college. Raised in an incredibly anti-mutant family, she was horrified to discover that her best friend Trev was a mutant, and doubly horrified when she had her first shift trying to intimidate her former friend and his new girlfriend, students at Xavier's Institute visiting home for a holiday break.

Abandoned by her friends almost instantly, Stephanie went to the only person she knew wouldn't shun her for her powers--Trev. Through Trev's help and the generosity of Xavier's, Stephanie managed to finish high school, spend some time on Muir Island, and now travels to the UK to attend University where it doesn't matter than she occasionally transforms into a 6'5", 300 pound beast.
