Aiden Mitchell

Name: Aiden Mitchell
Age: 19

Power: Aiden is able to shift into a fire breathing dragon of legend. The form gives him increased durability, strength, and a near immunity to fire. For size and appearance see this. However, he's not exactly the most agile creature.

In his full dragon form he can breathe fire continuously for about 10 seconds before needing to inhale again.

Too young to have been fully trained in his heritage. He has fairly limited fire generating, and control abilities. It does allow him the ability to defend himself outside of his dragon form since it can take a few moments to shift from his human to his natural draconic form.

Personality: He has a bit of a superiority complex because of his upbringing. He treats humans with more than a little disdain, and most mutants as barely equals until they prove otherwise. He is otherwise a kind individual to those he views as equals as creating alliances with important mutants was a rather important lesson his parents drilled into him.

Description: Outside for his dragon form Aiden is a fairly non-descript individual at 6'1 with a athletic build. He much prefers his dragon form, but it isn't exactly the most socially acceptable form in this universe.

Background: The only son of one the newest major families of North America. They took seemingly useless land in Canada, and made it thrive after discovering unknown mineral resources. They soon expanded into Alaska, and other areas of northern Canada. In order to continue their upward movement in society they made sure Aiden would have all the skills, and opportunities he'd need in the rather cut throat world of mutant politics.

His mutation being useful for combat he was eventually recruited into the acolytes, which was seen as major step for a family of only 5 generations. Acolyte training, and school absorbed the majority of his time.

What little time Aiden was at home for vacation was spent hunting or meeting various officials to cement relationships with various other families.

This was all brought to rather sudden end when he was dragged through a portal, and dropped into another universe. A universe where humans rule the earth. Now he's trying to figure out what he'll do now that he's become a refugee in this universe.

1) Is he as large as that linked image suggests?

2) Why would a dragon decide to go to college instead of trying to claim some piece of land somewhere?

3) Mutant who can shift into a dragon seems like something that'd work better (Superiority complexes don't need to be justified to be a thing >_>)

He would be about that size minus about 4 feet.

2) Why would a dragon decide to go to college instead of trying to claim some piece of land somewhere?

This is probably because the authorities would prefer a dragon did not go roaming around the countryside creating his own fiefdom. That and integrating him into society would be easier if you put him into a group of peers around his age, and education level. I'd say less choice, and instead convenience since he has abilities similar to those of mutants.

The concept mostly goes along with being dropped through a hole in reality into this universe, but it's true that him being a normal mutant would make for a smoother transition.

I like the app in general, my only concern is that by making him not a mutant and from a radically different world, he might be a little bit difficult to play.
Ultimately, thats up to you, but a dragon shifter from a place where mutants rule the world might be a bit more playable.

I think I'll make that change actually after having thought about it a bit more. It'll make understanding tech a bit easier as well as education levels moving across a bit simpler.

The lizard is jealous. The lizard's player, however, approves.

I dig it. I would like to see the background fleshed out a bit more, but I'm not sure that's a deal breaker for me.

Y'know...I think I'll give it Approval 1/2

Just for funsies.
