Physical Description: Andre, with his brown hair and green eyes, looks like an average human being. That is except for his hands. His right hand is red and his left hand is blue.
Power Explanation: He possesses the ability to create "strings" of energy from his hands, usually from the fingertips. These strings come in two varieties depending on the hand used. Unconsciousness causes the strings to vanish.
-----Right - Volatile red strings that explode when he snaps the fingers of his right hand; roughly comparable to dynamite. Can be stuck to surfaces or laid as tripwires. Logically, the more string the bigger the blast. The blast causes blue strings in range to dissipate.
-----Left - Stable blue strings that pretty much function as high tensile strength wire. They also produce a weight distribution field around attached objects (so not to tear his fingertips off). Dismissed by snapping fingers of left hand.
Ex-Secret Secondary Power Explanation: In his dreams, Andre takes a ride in his selves from other dimensions. He often wakes up confused and sometimes in the mindset of an alternate self.
Personality(As intended anyway): Andre is highly patriotic and proud to be a mutant. He isn't hateful of "flatscans" as some of his countrymen are; feeling mutantkind exists to shepherd them to a better future. His hopeful nature is often reflected in his art (tapestry).
History: Although he was born in Marseilles, Andre's all-mutant family moved to Genosha before he formed any lasting memory of the place. At an early age, he developed what was considered then to be an odd obsession with lines and patterns, manifesting as tying and weaving string between things to make an image or pattern. Then his hands changed color and his power revealed itself... at the cost of an explosion that wrecked his bedroom.
In high school he joined GeNDA, as their goal of a more democratic Genosha appealed to his feelings that his two mutant parents had been kept down by having unimpressive mutations.
