Power: Alyson is a tactile telekinetic; the individual cells of her body generate telekinetic fields that extend from her skin. They tend to most commonly come from her hands, although with some concentration she can generate them from any part of her body, multiplying the force she exerts on an object.
At full power, she can lift around 800 pounds, although it causes considerable strain on her both mentally and physically. She can’t hold it for longer than a few minutes, but it does tend to impress people.
The fields can also protect her from injury by reflecting impacts away from her body. However, major impacts or applications of force can break through the field causing a painful backlash of telekinetic energy.
Personality: Alyson is focused and intense, a very hard worker who is prone to taking things to seriously. She doesn't make friends or trust easily, but is fiercely loyal to those she does care about.
Description: Alyson is 5'4" inches with a fairly small, wiry build. She generally dresses in plain, practical clothing.
Background: Alyson was born and raised in San Diego, California. Her parents divorced when she was in grade school, but she maintained a close relationship with both of them. When her mutation manifested, she was sent to Xavier's for a year, but didn't like being away from home, and after she learned the basics of controlling her power she returned home and continued to study on her own, and with private tutors. After highschool, she was recruited by X-corp to work in their security division. After a few years of working there, she decided to take a leave of absence and attend college at XU, although she is planning on avoiding the X-team program, as she doesn't want to do anything that would give her a high profile.
