Name: Addison "Overdrive" Turner
Age: 20

Power: Addison has displayed the ability to transform into metal. Upon further experimenting, it was discovered that her body is capable of mimicking several different types of metals, or to put more plainly, any type of metal that she can physically touch, though only one at a time. For now, her ability requires a fair amount of concentration, and is in no way an instant transformation, as her body must change its physical make-up, in a sense. It can, however be 'dropped' and removed more quickly than initiating the change. Though her body becomes metal all the way through (though still mobile), having the same armored qualities, Addison is in no way impervious to damage, though she can withstand far more than your average 'flesh and blood' human. Circumstances of heavy impact, such as explosives, speeding mass (ie: train wrecks), et cetra, all take their toll on Addison's body, doing considerable damage and often making it dangerous (or life-threatening) to return to her normal state. As an addition to her new form, Addison has been able to display great feats of strength whenever transformed, lifting and moving things that ordinary men have invented great machines to maneuver. And another thing that may be of note, even before Addison showed signs of mutation, she had an... interesting affinity towards anything metal and mechanical, as in being able to identify a problem with the machinery in minutes, and fix it in as short of a time.

Personality: Addison is about as friendly as tomboys can come. She dislikes confrontations between those she holds close and will often be found playing the part of peace-keeper when it is necessary. She is kind hearted (it can be said that she has a heart of gold, no pun intended) and generous and will, more often than not, do what she can to lend a helping hand. Addison will always give 110% if she can, or she will do her very best, regardless of the situation. She can be known for her playful sarcasm, which is about as sharp as an old butter knife, and her ready laugh. And though she is a friendly woman, often found enjoying laughter with good company, she can have a serious side to her, but usually only if it's truly necessary. She's responsible, but has been known to bend a few rules, though she'll usually take ownership of her own mistakes.

Description: Looking at an old photograph of Addison, one would have seen a young woman, honey brown hair and smiling gray eyes, freckles dotted about her tanned features. Really, her expression has never changed, even in the face of the still remaining adversity towards mutants, but her physical appearance has changed drastically. Tanned skin has turned into a dully shining 'gun metal gray.' Honey brown hair has been turned the color of white gold, now cropped short, hanging just below her jawline. Grey eyes have gone bronze, though still they are smiling. Her clothing choices have not changed at all either. Always, Addison can be found in various states of denim jeans (blue, black, grey, white, torn, grease-stained, etc) and a wide assortment of either bright tanktops, or tanktops layered beneath black t-shirts. She has a few piercings visible; a few in both ears, lip and nose. Almost always you can find her wearing rings, bracelets and her half-fingered black gloves. And another piece of jewelry that you will never find Addison without, is a metal, wide-chain necklace, each link made of a different type of metal. (Basically, picture a mixture between grunge and punk, with a few splashes of bright color, and you'll get Addison's wardrobe.)

Background: Addison grew up in a fair-sized city with her father (Gene) and her older brother (Lucas). She was raised through and through as a tomboy, always playing rough and tumble games with her brother, and often getting a 'talking to' from her father when they broke something in the house. All in all, she had a normal life, playing sports in highschool and the like. Her last few years of high school, she did two things; started taking lessons in kick boxing and helping her father around the auto shop. She found she had an affinity for it very early on, as if she were a child mechanic prodigy, so she wanted to lay the foundation for a possible job. It was shortly after her 16th birthday, that Addison's mutation became apparent. It started as strange gray patches that no doctor could explain, which gradually spread out across her entire body Her hair went white, her eyes changed... Her father was none too happy about the situation, but understanding. Addison became homeschooled, earning her diploma just before she turned 18, soon enrolling in online classes at the local community college. However, throughout her changes her brother was far more supportive, actively searching for some 'cure.' Instead, what he found was a school. Today, Addison still visits both her father and her brother quite regularly.

Two small questions:
  1. Am I correct in interpreting that she turns to metal all the way through, as evidenced by the risk in shifting back when injured?
  2. Can she mimic more than one type of metal at a time?

1) I had not meant for that to be interpreted that way, but now that it's been mentioned, I think that would be a good way to have it.

2) No, she can only be one metal at a time, but has the option of turning into various metals.

3) Also, I forgot to mention that she has a wide-link chain necklace, each link being made of a different type of metal. So long as that is allowable.

Perfectly allowable, but edit it into the character sheet so I can see how the final version reads.
