Power: Ghost Form - Shiro is able to become intangible at will, a form which he insists is existing as a ghost. While in this form he is incapable of physically being touched, although directed energy can still affect him (normal fire cannot). Anything he passes through that is capable will feel a sharp chill at his passing. He is capable of carrying a reasonable amount of equipment with him (roughly a little more than what would fit into a normal backpack), but nothing living which he phases will be living when it reverts. He cannot partially phase anything, if an object is too large, the phase will fail (read: no grabbing someone's head and phasing to kill them)
Phased movement - Shiro is capable of propelling himself while phased, although if he becomes solid gravity will take hold and he is only capable of normal motion. He can move supernaturally quickly for no more than three seconds before the strain forces him to revert to solid form.
He has also been trained from a young age in martial arts, and has a bit more than a passing acquaintance with several weapons.
Personality: Shiro possesses a very strong sense of honor (whatever that means to him), but also has a temper. He is generally polite, but occasionally possesses fairly backward views that were instilled upon him by his father (most notably regarding women, though it's been shown in the past that he can realize the error of his views on an individual basis). As far as loyalty on a larger scale, Shiro possesses a fairly mercenary attitude.
Description: Shiro is of Asian descent, with medium-length black hair. He has a toned body, and stands at 5'11". He generally dresses well, but with a deliberate and artful carelessness (such as in a suit, but with the shirt untucked and tie missing or loosened).
Background: When asked, Shiro will say that his father is or was (whether he's still alive hasn't been clarified yet) a businessman. His father was, in fact, an enforcer for a business in Madripoor (which is, of course, a legal profession in Madripoor). Roughly a year ago, his father double-crossed his employer for a quick payoff. This led to the fall from grace of what had previously been regarded a very reliable warrior family. Shiro claims to have come to Xavier's on what money he claimed from his family's savings (which were considerable) with a few prized possessions he'd taken from his father's house before he'd had to flee.
