Power: Andreas's mutation is the ability to manipulate time to various effects, for example, forming a 'Time Bubble', a sphere with a 5 meter radius within which time influencing all objects and organisms (excluding Andreas) is slowed to 4/5 of 'bullet time', so within the sphere it would appear that Andreas has superhuman speed and reflexes, whilst outside the sphere it would appear that everything inside (again bar Andreas) has slowed immensely. Andreas can also focus this power to slow a single opponent from a distance, or greatly increase the speed of something on touch (as he finds increasing the flow of time far more difficult). He is currently incapable of completely stopping time.

Description: Andreas is 6'1, with an athletic build. He is usually fairly well dressed.

Background: Andreas was raised in Sweden in a fairly typical lower class fashion for the first four years of his life, until his mother re-married into a family of very wealthy architects, who had an estate that was distant from other children. Andreas grew up, doted upon less than his siblings, who were his 'step-fathers' biological children. He looked heavily down upon those who had less, such as the poorer students at his school, as a way of fortifying himself to himself. He proved to be a highly intelligent student, coming near the top of his senior school in Extension Mathematics, Modern History, Economics and Geography.

His powers emerged part way through Senior School, though Andreas kept them relatively secret and overtime found himself quite capable in controlling them. Andreas blamed his mutation with further estranging him from his step-father (though in truth, his Step-Father couldn't care less and is still deeply affectionate towards Andreas) and decided to join the Xavier's Institute as both an abstract means of getting back at him and a viable way to continue his education.

The character looks pretty good. That particular combination of powers does still strike me as a bit odd though, they don't seem to have a coherent pattern. Can you explain the connection between the various powers?

Just to clarify, when you say:

that means that everything is slowed to 20% of it's normal time? So if an object was moving at 20 km/h it would effectively be moving at 4 km/h for Andreas and anyone watching from outside the bubble? I'm assuming you mean it's down to 20%, not 80%.
