Lunch time - 25th

[Alex Carpenter]

Alex was... well, trying to avoid the dining hall. He was going to be doing a lot of dishes tonight, he already knew it, so he felt like cheering himself up. Which was why he had a pizza delivered and, feeling in the mood to share, decided to eat it in the common room where he was pretty sure people were going to come investigate the smell of food (or, at least, be passing through on their way in and out).

[Jason Black]

"Ooh, pizza!" Jason grinned as he walked up, having entered almost the second the box was opened. Seriously, pizza-sense must be his secondary mutation.

Or he's just a teenage boy.

[Alex Carpenter]

Alex jumped when footsteps came in, then relaxed. Okay. Not Haley. Shaking off the lingering 'what the fuck?' feelings from the night before, he spun the box of the extra large pizza around. "Go for it," he said. "Sorry, didn't get any pineapple," he added with a smirk.

[Jason Black]

"Really? Thanks dude!" he grinned, grabbing a slice and taking a bite before flopping into a chair.

"So what's up?"

[Alex Carpenter]

"Eh, I don't know," he said. "Gotta work the kitchen for a few days because we ran off in the fight yesterday to find more stuff to fight."

"Ouch, harsh. But then my parents were pissed enough that I didn't go straight to the bunker."

[Alex Carpenter]

"Shit, you told them? There's mistake number one," Alex said. "I still haven't said anything to my mom... if they want her to know, they'll tell her themselves, I figure."

[Jason Black]

"I thought they'd be proud..." he sighed.

"Adults are weird."

[Alex Carpenter]

"Yeah, tell me about it. Always have to sue someone or ground someone or whatever," Alex said, rolling his eyes. "Bet they all would've wanted to be superheroes when they were our age..."

"I'd take that bet."
