While she hadn't gotten anywhere with the security systems, Victoria's other methods had at least given her a place to start looking. Past-scrying wasn't anything resembling an exact science, and she wasn't expecting stellar results, but it was better than doing nothing.

So after her amulet led her to one specific point on the grounds, she cleared the area of leaves and other debris, and began walking in a circle, trailing salt in her path as she went.

"What are you doing?" Aisha asked, sounding somewhat horrified.

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria looked around, trying to home in on the sound of the voice. "Casting a spell. Who's there?"

[Aisha Khan]

"My name is Aisha, and what you're doing is evil." she replied "You need to stop."

[Victoria Valentine]

"My name is Victoria and you don't know what the hell you're talking about," Victoria said, rolling her eyes a little as she finished the circle.

[Aisha Khan]

"Yes, I do." Aisha said "Witchcraft is evil, you should put your trust in God, not Satan."

[Victoria Valentine]

"You know, that's the second time in a eek that I've been accused of being a Satanist. It's getting kind of old. Like I'd want anything to do with that asshole."

[Aisha Khan]

"Its witchcraft, and that all comes from Satan." Aisha said .

[Victoria Valentine]

"I really, really beg to differ with you there, dear. I'm not going to say that what your faith teaches you is wrong... but it spits out a rather biased and sheltered view of how things work."

[Aisha Khan]

"I could be wrong." Aisha admitted "All we can do is try to do what God wants. Still, if you're worried about evil,prayer is better than magic."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Oh, I'm not worried about evil," Victoria said. "The intent behind the magic is what gives it color, just like anything else you do. After all, I don't see any of you railing against Moses for doing the same magic as the Pharoah's sorcerors."

[Aisha Khan]

"Moses didn't." Aisha protested "In the Qu'ran, it clearly says that Pharaoh's magicians tricked them with an illusion, and Moses's staff did turn into a serpent, but that was because Allah willed it, not because of anything Moses did."

[Victoria Valentine]

"And the people who observed it, much less the people who wrote it down years later, know that how?" Victoria mused.

[Aisha Khan]

"Because the Qu'ran was given by Allah to the angel Jibril, Gabriel, I mean, who carried it down to Muhammed, so it wouldn't become corrupted like the Bible was."

Victoria smirked. "Of course, how silly of me," she mused, picking up a stick that had blown off of a tree. She murmured a word and tossed it onto a nearby patch of earth where the grass had been torn up, so that it was easily visible as it turned into a snake.

[Aisha Khan]

Aisha shrieked in fear and ran away "You are evil!" she said as she started running.

[Victoria Valentine]

"Oh for god's sake, I am not," Victoria called back in exasperation as she snatched the snake up, the serpent reverting to a stick instantly.
