"That's the point of the safe rooms. We aren't trained and we're under age. There are elementary kids who go to this school too, what happens if someone looses control of their ability and a kid gets in the way? We have 12 hours and like I said the teachers were X-men. Even the Seniors and Juniors are better suited to fight then most of us. If you want to do something go to the little kids, help them."

There was a sound of shattering glass in the distance and not too long after. Haley walked into the room wordlessly and just sat down on one of the couches away from the window, not really saying anything to anyone and pulled her knees up to her chest. She didn't let things bother her most times, but this was pretty fucking scary, and now her room was covered in shards of glass from her mirror.

Alex looked away from the window, wincing a little. Then he walked over to the couch and leaned against the back of it so that he didn't have to be too loud while he was talking to her. "Hey," he whispered, reaching out and giving her shoulder a squeeze, "It's going to be okay, all right?"

However new Tommy was to all of this, Maggie didn't have a clue, aside from 'Hollywood tactics' that she had seen in movies, or even read in books. Still, that didn't put a damper on her enthusiasm for this plan.

Haley chewed her lip, not sure whether to stay and help or go hide. She remained silent, regarding everyone in the room thoughtfully.
